Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest przenośnik segmentowy (7) dostosowany do przenoszenia grup G artykułów prętopodobnych (3) z zachowaniem wzajemnej orientacji, w grupie G zawierający: segmenty transportowe (30), mieszczące kieszeń transportową do przyjmowania grup G artykułów prętopodobnych (3) ustalającą wzajemną orientację artykułów prętopodobnych (3). Segmenty transportowe (30) są połączone ze sobą przegubowo w łańcuch tak, że oś Z kieszeni transportowej segmentu transportowego (30), znajduje się zasadniczo prostopadle do osi podłużnej U segmentu transportowego (30), łączącej przeguby segmentu transportowego (30). Przenośnik charakteryzuje się tym, że segment transportowy (30) jest zamocowany obrotowo, przy czym segment transportowy (30) jest dostosowany do obracania się wokół osi podłużnej U segmentu transportowego (30) łączącej przeguby segmentu transportowego (30).
