Abstract

Zgłoszenie dotyczy sekwencji wybranych epitopów stanowiących sekwencje antygenowe z rejonu glikoproteiny E2 do zastosowania w leczeniu prewencyjnym HCV i/lub HBV, a dokładniej do zastosowania jako składnika rekombinowanej szczepionki opartej na tych epitopach w postaci chimerycznych cząsteczek wiruso-podobnych, opartych na białku sHBsAg. Zgłoszenie dotyczy również chimerycznych cząstek wiruso-podobnych opartych na białku sHBsAg wirusa HBV eksponujących wybrane sekwencje antygenowe HCV w wybranych układach. Zgłoszenie dotyczy również immunogennej szczepionki do zastosowania w profilaktyce zakażeń spowodowanych wirusem HCV i/lub HBV, które oparte są o te wybrane sekwencje według rozwiązania oraz kompozycji antygenów wirusa zapalenia wątroby typu C HCV, a także białka chimerycznego zawierającego sekwencję małego białka powierzchniowego wirusa zapalenia wątroby typu B.The application relates to sequences of selected epitopes constituting antigenic sequences from the E2 glycoprotein region for use in the preventive treatment of HCV and / or HBV, and more particularly for use as a component of a recombinant vaccine based on these epitopes in the form of chimeric virus-like particles based on sHBsAg protein. The application also relates to chimeric virus-like particles based on the HBV sHBsAg protein displaying selected HCV antigen sequences in selected systems. The application also relates to an immunogenic vaccine for use in the prophylaxis of infections caused by HCV and / or HBV, which are based on these selected sequences according to the embodiment and the composition of HCV hepatitis C virus antigens, as well as a chimeric protein containing the sequence of a small hepatitis virus surface protein.
