Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób chemicznego znakowania otoczek tabletek i odczytu znacznika polegający na: dodaniu określonych mas substancji znakującej do otoczki; wytworzeniu otoczek z substancją znakującą; ekstrakcji związków zawartych w otoczce z tabletki; analizie chromatograficznej związków zawartych w otoczce; porównania bezwzględnych, bezjednostkowych wartości stężenia i masy parabenów w celu autentykacji wyników.
