Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób otrzymywania związków o wzorze I przy czym R1 i R2 oznacza, każdorazowo niezależnie, grupę arylową lub heteroarylową, opcjonalnie podstawioną jedną lub kilkoma grupami wybranymi, każdorazowo niezależnie, spośród: grupy alkilowej, alkoksylowej, arylowej, heteroarylowej, CN, NO2 i fluorowca, znamienny tym, że reakcję aldehydu aromatycznego Ar1CHO, aminy aromatycznej Ar2NH2 oraz butano-2,3-dionu prowadzi się w mieszaninie rozpuszczalników organicznych, w temperaturze 0-150°C, w otwartym naczyniu reakcyjnym, w obecności katalizatora będącego solą żelaza (III).The subject of this application is a process for the preparation of compounds of formula I, wherein R1 and R2 are each independently an aryl or heteroaryl group, optionally substituted with one or more groups independently selected, each time independently, from: alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, CN, NO2 and a halogen, characterized in that the reaction of the aromatic aldehyde Ar1CHO, aromatic amine Ar2NH2 and butane-2,3-dione is carried out in a mixture of organic solvents, at a temperature of 0-150 ° C, in an open reaction vessel, in the presence of an iron salt catalyst (III ).
