W zawiasie z funkcją tłumiącą zawierającym pierwszy zestaw mocujący (10) z obudową, drugi zestaw mocujący (20) z obudową i zespół tłumiący (30) umieszczony pomiędzy pierwszym zestawem mocującym (10) i drugim zestawem mocującym (20), zespół tłumiący (30) zawiera pierwszy zestaw tłumiący (31) zawierający pierwszą krzywkę (13) nieobracalną względem pierwszego zestawu mocującego (10) i mającą kształt cylindra (11) otwartego od strony środka zawiasu (1), mającego powierzchnię czołową (14) z co najmniej jedną wypukłością (15) zwróconą ku środkowi zawiasu (1), drugi zestaw tłumiący (32) zawierający drugą krzywkę (23) nieobracalną względem drugiego zestawu mocującego (20) i mającą kształt cylindra (21) otwartego od strony środka zawiasu (1), mającego powierzchnię czołową (24) zwróconą do powierzchni czołowej (14) wypukłości pierwszej krzywki (13) i stykającą się w co najmniej jednym punkcie (27) z powierzchnią czołową (14) pierwszej krzywki (13) i mającą co najmniej jeden ześlizg o pochyłym zboczu, przy czym wnętrza pierwszego cylindra (11) i drugiego cylindra (21) tworzą centralną komorę, oraz siłownik tłumiący (33) umieszczony w centralnej komorze, który zawiera cylinder wykonawczy wypełniony medium i powracający tłok z co najmniej jednym przelotowym otworem i z tłoczyskiem umieszczony suwliwie w cylindrze wykonawczym, przy czym tłoczysko opiera się wolnym końcem o dno jednego z pierwszego cylindra (11) i drugiego cylindra (21), z którym nie styka się dno cylindra wykonawczego w całym zakresie przemieszczania się pierwszego zestawu mocującego (10) względem drugiego zestawu mocującego (20).
