System bezramowego połączenia kątowego płyt szkła ogniochronnego złożonego z co najmniej dwóch tafli szkła hartowanego pomiędzy, którymi znajduje się żel (hydrożel) ogniochronny, charakteryzuje się tym, że w elementach szkła ogniochronnego (10 i 11) pomiędzy taflami szkła (1a) wewnętrznymi i (1b) zewnętrznymi, gdzie tafle szkła (1a) wewnętrznego są krótsze od tafli szkła (1b) zewnętrznych, bliżej krawędzi tafli (1a) wewnętrznych, w miejscu połączenia znajduje się ramka (3) dystansowa z materiału niepalnego zapewniająca odpowiedni dystans pomiędzy taflami szkła i połączona z nimi trwale za pomocą materiału klejącego (4).
