Przedmiotem wynalazku jest hydrolizat α-(1 → 3)-glukanów wyizolowanych z owocników żółciaka siarkowego Laetiporus sulphureus, znajdujący zastosowanie jako prebiotyk dla ludzi i zwierząt wspomagający namnażanie i wzrost dobroczynnej mikroflory jelitowej, zaburzonej np. na skutek przebytej antybiotykoterapii, stresu lub nieprawidłowej diety. Hydrolizat według wynalazku, wyizolowany z powszechnie dostępnego o stosunkowo niskiej cennie surowca, zawiera mieszaninę α-(1 → 3)-glukooligosacharydów o stopniu polimeryzacji od 2 do 10 i jest substancją o wysokim stopniu bifidogennym, na przykład, w stosunku do bakterii mlekowych Bifidobacterium i Lactobacillus.The subject of the invention is the hydrolyzate of α- (1 → 3) -glucans isolated from the fruiting bodies of sulfurous bile Laetiporus sulphureus, used as a prebiotic for humans and animals supporting the multiplication and growth of beneficial intestinal microflora, disturbed e.g. as a result of antibiotic therapy, stress or improper diet. The hydrolyzate according to the invention, isolated from a widely available, relatively low-cost raw material, contains a mixture of α- (1 → 3) -gluccooligosaccharides with a degree of polymerization from 2 to 10 and is a substance with a high degree of bifidogenic, for example, against the lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.
