Abstract

The subject of the invention is the use of potassium water glass as an additive controlling the setting time of a concrete mix and a method of obtaining a concrete mix with an extended or shortened setting time, whereby potassium water glass with a module of 3.9 - 4.1 in an amount from 1 to 4% based on the weight of dry cement.
