Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób modyfikacji kwasu maleopimarowego, który charakteryzuje się tym, że prowadzi się reakcję kwasu maleopimarowego z bio-diolem w atmosferze gazu obojętnego, w środowisku wysokowrzącego rozpuszczalnika organicznego, w temperaturze 115 - 150°C, w obecności katalizatora z grupy aminoalkoholi lub związków butylocynowych w ilości 0,1 - 0,3% w stosunku do masy reakcyjnej, przy stosunku molowym kwasu maleopimarowego do bio-diolu wynoszącym 1,5 - 3: 1. Reakcję prowadzi się do uzyskania liczby kwasowej produktu na poziomie 160 - 190 mgKOH/g, po czym usuwa się rozpuszczalnik, a z suchego produktu wytwarza się proszek. Korzystnie jako bio-diole stosuje się butanodiol, dekanodiol lub diol na bazie dimeryzowanych alkoholi tłuszczowych. Korzystnie jako katalizator z grupy aminoalkoholi stosuje się 3-etanoloaminę, a jako katalizator z grupy związków butylocynowych stosuje się tlenek dibutylocyny. Korzystnie jako rozpuszczalnik organiczny stosuje się ksylen lub inny związek o podobnej temperaturze wrzenia.The subject of the application is a method of modifying maleopimaric acid, which is characterized by reacting maleopimaric acid with a bio-diol in an inert gas atmosphere, in a high-boiling organic solvent, at a temperature of 115 - 150 ° C, in the presence of a catalyst from the group of amino alcohols or compounds butyltin in the amount of 0.1 - 0.3% in relation to the reaction mass, with the molar ratio of maleopimaric acid to bio-diol being 1.5 - 3: 1. The reaction is carried out to obtain the acid number of the product at the level of 160 - 190 mgKOH / g, then the solvent is removed to form a powder from the dry product. Preferably, butanediol, decanediol or a diol based on dimerized fatty alcohols are used as bio-diols. Preferably, 3-ethanolamine is used as the catalyst from the group of amino alcohols and the catalyst from the group of butyltin compounds is dibutyltin oxide. Preferably, xylene or another compound with a similar boiling point is used as the organic solvent.
