Abstract

The subject of the report is a method of determining the risk of cancer in women over 50 years of age, non-smokers, characterized by the fact that it includes a quantitative assessment of the cadmium concentration in the blood of the tested person, the concentration indicating a nearly 7-fold reduced risk of cancer in relation to the subgroup with a lower concentration of cadmium in the blood (<0.28 µg / l), in the case of the values of cadmium concentration in the blood in the range of 0.28 - 0.33 µg / l.
