Kask ochronny (1) zawiera zewnętrzną skorupę połączoną z wewnętrzną wykładziną ochronną, a ponadto ma osłonę twarzy (3) z powłoką fotochromową, mocowaną do zewnętrznej skorupy rozłącznie za pomocą elementów łączących (4, 5, 6), umieszczonych symetrycznie na górnej krawędzi osłony twarzy oraz odpowiadających im elementów łączących (7, 8, 9) umieszczonych w pobliżu dolnej krawędzi przedniej części zewnętrznej skorupy.
