Płyta tłumiąca i dźwiękochłonna wykonana z materiału włóknistego korzystnie z wełny mineralnej, charakteryzuje się tym, że posiada wiele wybrań (3), których głębokość (H) stanowi 30 – 60% jej grubości (G1) a na co najmniej jednej powierzchni zawiera okładzinę (2) z welonu szklanego lub tkaniny szklanej lub płótna, lub włókniny poliestrowej, lub membrany paroprzepuszczalnej lub paroszczelnej. Tłumik akustyczny zawierający kulisy akustyczne charakteryzuje się tym, że kulisy akustyczne wypełnione są płytą, gdzie płyta z materiału włóknistego korzystnie z wełny mineralnej, posiada wiele wybrań (3), których głębokość (H) stanowi 30 – 60% jej grubości (G1).
