Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest związek o wzorze 1 korzystnie o konfiguracji E podwójnego wiązania, gdzie: R1 oznacza aminoalkanol, korzystnie: 6-aminoheksan-1-ol, 5-aminopentan-1-0l, 4-aminobutan-1-ol, 3-aminopropan-1-ol, 2-aminoetan-1-ol, (R,S)-2-aminopropan-1-ol, (R,S)-2-aminobutan-1-ol, (R,S)-1-aminobutan-2-ol, (R,S)-2-amino-3-metylobutan-1-ol lub 4-hydroksypiperydynę, R2 oznacza atom wodoru, atom chloru, dwa atomy chloru lub grupę metylową, w odpowiedniej pozycji pierścienia fenylowego, korzystnie 4 lub 2, 4, do stosowania w leczeniu lub zapobieganiu chorób lub zaburzeń związanych z nieprawidłową melanogenezą, przy czym związek ten jest stosowany do hamowania melanogenezy lub jako inhibitor tyrozynazy.
