Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest nowy szczep bakteriofaga specyficzny wobec bakterii z gatunku Klebsiella pneumoniae wybrany ze szczepów zdeponowanych w Polskiej Kolekcji Mikroorganizmów pod numerami depozytowymi F/00192; F/00193; F/00194; F/00195, z których każdy ma potwierdzoną naturę lityczną i charakteryzuje się wysoką wirulencją. Zgłoszenie dotyczy także zastosowania szczepu bakteriofaga do wytwarzania preparatów do leczenia infekcji wywołanych przez bakterie z gatunku Klebsiella pneumoniae.
