Pakiet szklany zespolony z komorą podgrzewaną, który ma jedną dwie, lub trzy komory, oraz plastikowe ramki dystansowe (7) charakteryzuje się tym, że ma co najmniej jeden podłużny element grzejny np. drut wolframowy nieosłonięty lub osłonięty, który jest zamocowany trwale do blaszek w komorze międzyszybowej, przy czym element grzejny jest zamocowany w dolnej części komory międzyszybowej na wysokości kilku centymetrów ponad dolną ramką dystansową.
