Pływająca siłownia wiatrowa charakteryzuje się tym, że wyposażona jest w wieżę (5), zawierającą podporę (13), wirnik turbiny (7) oraz zespół prądotwórczy (6), które to są posadowione na jednostce pływającej (1) zakotwiczonej za pomocą cięgna kotwiczącego (2), odchylane o kąt β w zakresie od 0° do 90° względem przegubu sworzniowego (4) przez siłownik hydrauliczny (11) dwustronnego działania.
