Abstract
The subject of the application presented in the drawing is a method of recovering waste heat from organic waste, especially agri-food waste, stored in deposits, stacks, composted in prisms or baled into bales, which consists in the fact that low-temperature waste heat generated in the mass of the indicated organic waste is collected by the cooling water of an external heat exchanger, installed within the deposits, stacks and bales of agri-food materials or compost, and then used to heat the sorption deposits of an adsorption refrigeration device, consisting of at least a sorption chamber containing a heat exchanger, a condenser, an evaporator containing a heat exchanger and an expansion element, in the desorption process by connecting the heat exchanger system installed in the bed of organic material with the hot or cooling water circuit of the adsorption refrigerator, heating or cooling the sorption chamber to produce cold or distilled water. The subject of the application is also a method of cooling deposits, stacks and bales of agri-food materials (mainly straw) or compost (compost heap), the storage of which is associated with the accumulation of heat, consisting in that a heat exchanger is built into the deposit, stack or bale of agri-food materials, especially a bale of straw or a compost heap, through which water flows to cool the deposit of the stored agri-food material and which is connected to an adsorption cooling device in such a way that the water, after receiving the heat accumulated by the storage of agri-food materials or compost, is directed to a heat exchanger system heating or cooling at least one sorption bed during the desorption or adsorption stage.
