Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest kompozycja polimerowa z cytyzyną o przedłużonym uwalnianiu cytyzyny, która charakteryzuje się tym, że zawiera napełniacz z cytyzyny rozproszony w osnowie polimerowej. Zgłoszenie obejmuje również sposób wytwarzania kompozycji polimerowej z cytyzyną, który charakteryzuje się tym, że napełniacz z cytyzyny lub jej soli rozprasza się w osnowie polimerowej metodą mieszania bezpośredniego, korzystnie metodą elektroprzędzenia lub korzystnie z wykorzystaniem wytłaczania.
