Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of obtaining pigment for various types of paints from char obtained in the pyrolysis process. In the first stage, pyrolysis of tires is carried out in a tightly closed reactor without access to air, at a temperature of 350°C - 800°C, then the steel cord is removed from the obtained char, and the obtained material is crushed and sieved. The obtained pigment is added and mixed to latex or oil paint in an amount of up to 10% by weight or the pigment is added and mixed to an emulsion subsequently added to acrylic or oil paint.
