Docisk boczny charakteryzuje się tym, że zawiera korpus (1) o przekroju poprzecznym w kształcie odwróconej litery T, którego koniec części pionowej jest połączony rozłącznie za pomocą dwóch śrub (3) z talerzem (2), nadto talerz (2) jest osadzony na jednym końcu kołka (4), którego drugi koniec jest zamocowany także w końcu części pionowej korpusu (1), ponadto talerz (2) posiada śruby dociskowe (5), a korpus (1) posiada śrubę mocującą (6).
