Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of increasing the solubility of caffeine in aqueous solutions. The method is used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of spray drugs dosed orally and for the production of cosmetics of a medicinal nature and in the food industry for the preparation of technological solutions in the production of energy drinks. The method of increasing the solubility of caffeine in water consists in adding carrageenan to a suspension of caffeine in water in a dose depending on the type of carrageenan and the concentration of caffeine in the solution, and then the solution is heated to 40 - 60 degrees Celsius and stirred until the ingredients are completely dissolved, after which it is cooled to room temperature.
