Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest materiał aktywny zmieniający swoje właściwości spektroskopowe pod wpływem zmian wilgotności otoczenia, charakteryzujący się tym, że zawiera matrycę — polielektrolit oraz barwnik fluorescencyjny. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest również sposób otrzymywania tego materiału oraz jego zastosowanie do monitorowania wilgotności względnej otoczenia.
