Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest ściółka higieniczna dla małych zwierząt, która zawiera od 40 do 50% wag. śruty kukurydzianej, od 15 do 25% wag. otrąb pszennych, od 8 do 15% wag. mąki paszowej, od 5 do 10% wag. produktów ubocznych powstałych podczas produkcji płatków owsianych, od 5 do 10% wag. glinokrzemianów, od 1 do 5% wag. włókna celulozowego, od 0,5 do 1,5% wag. gumy guar oraz od 0,01 do 0,05% wag. sorbinianu potasu. Zgłoszenie obejmuje także sposób wytwarzania ściółki higienicznej dla małych zwierząt, który prowadzi się tak, że śrutę kukurydzianą, otręby pszenne oraz produkty uboczne powstałe podczas produkcji płatków owsianych mieli się na sitach o średnicy oczka co najwyżej 2 mm do wielkości cząstek co najwyżej 0,8 mm. The application also covers a method of producing hygienic litter for small animals, which is carried out in such a way that corn meal, wheat bran and by-products generated during the production of oat flakes are ground on sieves with a mesh diameter of at most 2 mm to a particle size of at most 0.8 mm. Then from 40 to 50% by weight of maize meal, from 15 to 25% by weight of wheat bran, from 8 to 15% by weight of feed flour, from 5 to 10% by weight of by-products formed during the production of oat flakes, from 5 to 10% by weight of aluminosilicates, from 1 to 5% by weight of cellulose fibre, from 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of guar gum and from 0.01 to 0.05% by weight of potassium sorbate are weighed out. The weighed amounts of the mixture components are mixed together, after which the mixture is granulated, the granules obtained being successively cooled to ambient temperature and dried, after which the granules are sieved and the dust fraction is removed from them.
