Abstract

Zestaw holowniczy (30) stanowi cięgno stalowe (31), powleczone osłoną elastomerową (32) w kształcie cylindra. Korzystnie gdy cięgno stalowe wykonane jest ze stalowej liny. Innym korzystnym rozwiązaniem jest cięgno w postaci łańcucha stalowego. Cylindryczna osłona (32) wykonana jest z elastycznego tworzywa. Korzystnie gdy osłona (32) wykonana jest z gumy. Innym korzystnym rozwiązaniem jest, gdy osłona (32) wykonana jest z poliuretanu. Tworzywo elastomerowe osłony (32) może być zbrojone włóknem. Grubość ścianki cylindra oraz ewentualne zbrojenie nadają osłonie (32) znaczną sztywność. Na końcach cięgna (31) zestawu holowniczego (30), usytuowane są zderzaki (33) osłony (32). Korzystnie gdy zderzaki mają postać tarczy o średnicy zewnętrznej, większej niż zewnętrzna średnica osłony (32).
