Abstract

The subject of the application is a flexible electrode made of carbon paper covered with a recognition layer of a conductive polymer of a pyrrole derivative, characterized in that it is molecularly imprinted with metronidazole and electropolymerized galvanostatically, and the recognition layer contains a polymer of 3-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)propanoic acid cross-linked with pyrrole. The application also includes a method of depositing a polymer layer molecularly imprinted with metronidazole and the use of an electrode prepared in this way for detecting metronidazole.
