Abstract

The subject of the invention is a method for obtaining biomass and compounds with added value using microorganisms using mannitol as a carbon source, which consists in inoculating a sterile standard inoculum medium with a pure culture of modified Yarrowia lipolytica yeast of the ΔEYD1 genotype, while continuously shaking or stirring, and then introducing the obtained inoculum into a culture vessel with a medium containing mannitol at a concentration of 5 to 200 g/L.
