Eko folia papieropodobna charakteryzuje się tym, że jest w niej całkowity udział węglanu wapnia (CaCO3) korzystnie w ilości od 57% do 65 % wagowych oraz dwie warstwy licowe wytworzone z polietylenu dużej gęstości (HDPE) o grubości 15 µm korzystnie 10% do 29% wagowych, specjalistycznej przedmieszki opracowanej w celu nadania foliom polietylenowym właściwości podobnych do papieru w ilości od 5% do 11% wagowych oraz barwnika od 1% do 4% wagowych.
