Abstract
Zasolone wody (11) wypompowywane z rząpi szybów kopalnianych (4) zamiast zrzutu do cieków wodnych powinny być kierowane do specjalnie odwierconych otworów (6) z powierzchni do głębokości ponad złoże solne. Te zasolone wody z mniejszą intensywnością będą ługowały (rozpuszczały) złoże solne spływając do rząpi szybów kopalnianych. Z szybów kopalnianych te znacznie bardziej zasolone wody będą wypompowywane i ponownie kierowane do wcześniej odwierconych otworów, gdzie będą jeszcze wolniej rozpuszczały złoże solne. Po wypompowaniu tych bardziej zasolonych wód ponownie będą one kierowane do otworów wiertniczych celem dalszego zmniejszenia rozpuszczania złoża solnego. Taka zamknięta cyrkulacja spowoduje dalsze zmniejszenie szybkości rozpuszczania złoża solnego (zwiększanie stężenia solanki aż do jej nasycenia) i dzięki temu uniknie się konieczności zrzucania solanki do cieków powierzchniowych. The subject of the application is a method for preventing salinization of groundwater—watercourses—by saline waters from coal mine drainage. A rock salt deposit (2) is located in the overburden rocks above the mined coal deposit, which is fractured due to deformation. Freshwater infiltrating from the surface leaches the deposit through these fractures (9), becoming saline (9). Saline waters (11) pumped from mine shaft sumps (4), instead of being discharged into watercourses, should be directed into specially drilled holes (6) from the surface to a depth above the salt deposit. These saline waters will leach (dissolve) the salt deposit less intensively, flowing into the mine shaft sumps. These significantly saline waters will be pumped out of the mine shafts and redirected to previously drilled holes, where they will dissolve the salt deposit even more slowly. Once these more saline waters are pumped out, they will be redirected back into the boreholes to further reduce salt dissolution. This closed circulation will further reduce the salt dissolution rate (increasing brine concentration until it becomes saturated), thus avoiding the need to discharge brine into surface streams.
