W szczególności elektroda ta może być wykorzystywana w elektrofiltrach do odpylania spalin z pieców małej mocy opalanych paliwami stałymi. Ponadto przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest element do czyszczenia jonizatorów zamontowanych na elektrodzie i sposób jej czyszczenia.
