Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób otrzymywania kwasu tereftalowego, który polega na tym, że utlenianiu poddaje się mieszaninę p-ksylenu oraz p-cymenu w stosunku objętościowym od 15:1 do 3:1 w obecności 0,1% do 1% molowych związku kobaltu (II) w przeliczeniu na surowce, 1% do 5% molowych związków zawierających brom w przeliczeniu na surowce, w kwasie octowym jako rozpuszczalniku, gazami zawierającymi tlen, pod ciśnieniem 1 MPa do 3 MPa, proces prowadzi się w temperaturze 130°C do 190°C w czasie od 1h do 6h.
