Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest peptyd oznaczony jako UG28, o sekwencji aminokwasowej Leu-Glu-Ala-Val-Asn-Pro-Lys-Tyr-Lys-Gln-Lys-Arg-Arg - (LEAVNPKYKQKRR) stanowiący środek o działaniu stymulującym chondrogenezę komórek mezenchymanych. Zgłoszenie obejmuje również zastosowanie medyczne peptydu UG28 jako leku w leczeniu uszkodzeń chrząstki jako stymulator chondrogenezę. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest peptyd oznaczony jako CPLG-UG28 zawierający na N-końcu resztę cysteiny ułatwiającej przyłączenie peptydu do maleimidochitozanu, z wykorzystaniem łącznika maleimidoglicynowego.
