The storage tank for storing gases is also characterized in that the compressed activated carbon discs (3) have a conformal shape adapted to the geometry of the vessel (10). The gas storage tank is also characterized in that the vessel (10) is made of a barrier material. The gas storage tank is also characterized in that the vessel (10) is thermally isolated from the external environment by means of an insulating material (11). The gas storage tank is also characterized in that the insulating material (11) is preferably silica aerogel. The gas storage tank is also characterized in that the inner surface of the vessel (10) is covered with an anti-diffusion material (12). The gas storage tank is also characterized in that a connector (13) is mounted in the working part (2) to enable filling and emptying the tank with gas. The gas storage tank is also characterized in that the energy exchange medium (6) surrounding the pulsed heat pipes (4) enables heat transfer between the cooling and heating device (8) and the pulsed pipes.
