Fig. 1 rysunku przedstawia schemat czujnika i uklad blokowy calego systemu, a fig. 2- przyklad ukladu elektrycznego miernika wykonanego wedlug wynalazku. Eng., Sławomir Gradys Patent owner: Przedsiębiorstwo Hydrogeologiczne w Warszawie, Warszawa (Poland) Electric liquid level meter Liquid level meters with reading recording were usually constructed based on a suitably large float, transmitting the shift of the liquid level to the indicating and recording element by mechanically coupling the cable on which it was suspended. Such meters had a number of natural limitations. Due to the need to overcome large friction and inertia forces, the dimensions of the float had to be large, which ruled out the device's use in holes and tanks with small diameters and large liquid level ranges. One of the known electric liquid level indicators, based on the contact principle, has the disadvantage that the motor-activated sensor moves continuously up and down for a certain distance (even when the liquid level remains constant), which leads to rapid wear of the components, especially the continuously switched motor. The fact that such a meter requires a high level of electrical energy makes it difficult to manufacture in a portable, dispatchable version. Another indicator, in which the transmitter circuit activating the indicating and recording element is controlled by relays with a current closing in the circuit of a sensor heavier than water, with resistance dependent on its immersion, requires very precise adjustment of the device for a given type of liquid and can only operate reliably within a small range of its conductivity. The subject of the invention is a sensor and input circuit for an electric liquid level meter, the design of which allows for the avoidance of the disadvantages described above. Fig. 1 of the drawing shows a diagram of the sensor and a block circuit of the entire system, and Fig. 2 - an example of an electrical circuit of the meter made according to the invention. The electrical liquid level meter based on the contact measurement principle is equipped with a sensor suspended on a conductive cable 1 wound on a drum 2 and with a known transmitter circuit 3 and an indicating and recording element 4. The sensor has a lower electrode 5r connected to the upper electrode 6 and cable 1 via a diode 7, and cable 1 is connected to multidirectionally connected rectifier circuits 8 and 9, controlling the transmitter circuit 3. The liquid level can be in three characteristic positions relative to the sensor, namely: A - below the electrode 5, B - below the electrode 5, — between electrodes 0 and 6, C — of the above electrode 6. In these three positions the sensor presents a different load to the alternating voltage generator 10 in the following closed circuit: sensor cable 1, contact 11 and connection 12, and on the other hand between the auxiliary electrode 13 (which may be, for example, a metal pipe of a deep well or a housing of a liquid tank) and the sensor. The system is at rest only in position B. If the liquid level changes so that the sensor is in position A, the half-cycles of the alternating current, which in position B were short-circuited by the diode 7, create a control signal through the rectifier circuit 8 of one of the known follow-up circuits 3. The motor of the follow-up circuit will then rotate the shaft 14 in such a direction that the cable 1 unwinds from the drum 2 mounted on it until the sensor reaches position B. Conversely, when the sensor is in position C, the electrode 6 will short-circuit the opposite half-cycles of the alternating current, not short-circuited by the electrode 5 due to the existence of the diode 7, which in positions A and B are blocked by the rectifier circuit 9. motor rotating shaft 14 in such a direction that electrode J is pushed up until electrode 6 emerges. The indicating and registering element 4 is mechanically coupled to cable 1. For the cable 1 to operate reliably, the internal resistance of the rectifier 10 and the input resistance of rectifier circuits 8 and 9 must be significantly greater than the resistance between electrodes 5 and 6 and electrode 13 through the measured liquid. This can be achieved by using appropriately large surfaces of electrodes 5 and 6 for liquids with low conductivity. Due to the finite distance between electrodes 5 and 6, the system will be insensitive to small fluctuations in the liquid level. To make the system insensitive to fast waves with an amplitude significantly exceeding the distance between the electrodes, the sensor should be placed in a casing into which the liquid will flow and flow with a delay, which will allow only the average level to be monitored. Since the motors of the follower system (or one switched or reversible motor) can provide any large torque, the invention makes it possible to create a liquid level recorder with a constant absolute error regardless of the liquid level span. For the same reason, it is easy to use any remote transmission system. A major advantage of the meter according to the invention is that when the level of the measured liquid remains constant, the motor(s) of the system do not operate, which results in low average power consumption, which allows the construction of portable meters with economical battery power supply. Due to the contact operation of the electrodes directly with the measured liquid, the system is highly reliable.
