Standing chairs with metal frames, seats, backrests, and armrests are well-known. The essence of the industrial design is the chair's new form, manifested in its shape and line arrangement. All four chair variations in the design have a metal frame, identical seat, backrest, and their connection. The chair's four legs, inclined from the vertical and diverging downward, are made of round tubing. The front legs are connected by a tubular connector running under the seat, while the rear legs are also connected by a connector running along the back of the chair at seat height. The frame supports the seat and backrest, which are padded and upholstered. The chair in the third and fourth varieties has rear legs extended upwards above the seat. The leg extensions serve as armrest supports made of plastic. The chair legs in the first and third varieties have glides at the bottom, while those in the second and fourth varieties have casters. The subject of the design is shown in four variations in the attached illustrative material, consisting of a drawing and a photograph. The first variation, shown in Figures 1 and 5, shows a chair standing on four legs with glides. Figure 1 shows the chair in an oblique front view, and Figure 5 in a rear view. The second variation, shown in Figure 2, shows a chair standing on four legs with casters, in an oblique front view. The third variant, shown in Figure 3, shows a chair standing on four legs with glides and armrests made of plastic, in an oblique front view. The fourth variant, shown in Figure 4 and photographs Figures 6 and 7, shows a chair standing on four legs with casters and armrests made of plastic. Figures 4 and 6 show the chair in an oblique front view, and Figure 7 in a front view. Essential Features of the Industrial Design The quadrangular seat of the chair has outwardly convex edges, with the greatest convexity at the rear edge. Its convexity corresponds to the concavity of the adjoining trapezoidal backrest, which is widened downward. The chair's backrest is attached with screws to a strip mounted on a convex tubular connector, which is part of the frame and runs along the back of the chair at seat height. The backrest is angled at the top and tilted slightly backward. The chair's legs are angled away from the vertical and diverge downward.
