PL18.XII.1963 German Federal Republic 51544 MKP E 04 f blbb siloR jBIBLIOTE ^ KAf UKD Published: 3.YI.1966 Urzedu Patented fUrtleJ Bzeeg. ^ Rl.-t? - 'L; t /, Inventor and patent owner Artur Fischer, Tumlingen (German Federal Republic) Pin-type drill bush The invention relates to a pin drill bushing for knocking out or drilling holes in hard walls, for example in concrete, and at the same time for fixing elements to the walls. Hitherto, a chisel or a drill and a pin are used separately, the chisel or drill used to make holes and the pin to hold the elements. In these devices, after the hole has been drilled, the chisel or drill is removed from the hole, and a locking element provided with an internal thread is inserted into the hole. In turn, the clamping screw is screwed into the clamping element bushing, expanding the clamping element from its head. In contrast to the previously known design solutions, the novelty and technical progress of the invention consists in the fact that the drill bushing or tubular expansion chisel simultaneously serves as a pin, transferring significant tensile forces and weights. According to the invention, the upper part of the drill bush in the form of a pin is provided with retaining elements, in particular threads, for not only fixing the bushing to the drilling jig, but also for holding construction elements, for example plates or hooks. By firmly expanding the drill bush in the masonry into the holding part of the drill head, it can be, according to the invention, inserted and wedged pressing elements, for example cones, balls or cylinders. This wedging is facilitated by the use of protrusions, ribs or stirrups in the drill bushing which reduce the inside diameter of the bushing close to its head. The drill bushing can also be completely closed or fully or partially slashed. It has been shown to be advantageous to fully or partially exude a hole or indentation in the drill bit shank as this allows for additional collection of drilled flour within the shank of the screw. Upon removal of the drill string from the sleeve, the drilled flour flies easily out of the cavity by the rotation of the drill string. The symmetrically positioned teeth of the drill bit, having different lengths, serve to center the head of the drill string. The subject of the invention is illustrated in a few embodiments in the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a drilling rig, a cut drill bush provided with into the internal thread and the wall in which the drill bushing is mounted, Fig. 2 - two wedge-shaped thrust elements, mounted in the drill bush, after fixing it in the wall, Fig. 3 - two different types of clamping elements, Fig. 4 - variations drill sleeve with internal teeth, spreading its head with a cone, Fig. 5 - drill sleeve from Fig. 4 in top view 5154451544 and Fig. 6 - drill sleeve embedded in the wall with a head, supported by the element The drill bushing 1 is provided with an internal thread 2 in the upper part la, and with an internal thread in the lower part lc The sleeve has a slot 4 that facilitates the expansion of the head 3 in the opening 9 of the wall 8. The drilling device 5 is fastened in a drill, not shown in the drawing, by means of a cone or other jamming element. The drilling device 5 has on its head 5a an expressed, threaded spindle 6 permanently connected to the head 5a by means of a screw or rivet 7. After screwing the threaded spindle 6 into the bushing 1 by means of its internal thread 2, the drill bushing 1 drills a hole 9 in the wall 8 after starting the drill. The drill bush 1 easily penetrates the wall 8 due to its special shape and the provision of its head 3 with teeth 3a of different lengths. 2 shows the seating of the drill bushing 1 in the hole 9 made with it. In order to firmly seat the drill bush 1 in the wall 8, the jamming element 10 with a wedge-shaped lower part 10a is inserted into the clamping element 10. a cone 11, which unfolds the heads 3 of the sleeve 1. Fig. 3 shows two types of locking elements, the lower locking element 11 'having the shape of a taper cone and the upper locking element 11' having the shape of a cylinder. FIG. 4 shows a further variant of the drill sleeve 1 with elongated ribs 12 and a cylindrical locking element 11 'with a cone tip. The longitudinal ribs 12 of the sleeve 1 cause, when the locking element 11 'is pressed into it, the pressure of the head 3 of the sleeve 1 to the outside and its firm jamming in the wall 8. Fig. 6 shows a variant of the drill sleeve 1 from Fig. 5 after it is firmly jammed. 10 to the wall 8 with the locking element 11 'and the fixing of the fixing screw 13 with the internal thread 2 made in the upper part of the sleeve 1. The fixing screw 1 & holds the building board 14 and presses it 15 firmly against the wall 8. Due to the wedge-shaped design of the head 3 and 3a of the drill bushing 1, made in the form of an expanding pin, this bush carries a large weight and is easy and simple to assemble, and also allows its removal from the hole without the hitherto labor-intensive drilling.
