Description

Pierwszenstwo:.Opublikowano: 12. VI. 1967 53116 KI. rSi-c, Iflll mkp BncAlaf) Wspóltwórcy wynalazku: doc. mgr inz. Zdzislaw Wertz, prof. mgr inz. Przyklady skladów mas formierskich i rdzenio¬ wych wedlug wynalazku. 10 15 20 25 30 Przyklad pierwszy: piasek kwarcowy — 100 czesci ciezarowych szklo wodne — 5 „ „ pólkoks torfowy — 4 „ „ czesci ciezarowych Przyklad drugi: piasek kwarcowy — 100 glina GM-3 — 3 szklo wodne — 5 „ „ pólkoks torfowy — 4 „ „ 10% Na(OH) — 1 „ Mase wedlug wynalazku sporzadza sie bezposre¬ dnio z wymienionych surowców przez zmieszanie ich w mieszarce dowolnego typu w czasie okolo 5 minut. PLPriority:. Published: 12. VI. 1967 53116 KI. rSi-c, Iflll mkp BncAlaf) Inventors: Assoc. Zdzislaw Wertz, M.Sc., prof. Zbigniew Rozmej, M.Sc. Patent owner: Instytut Odlewnictwa, Kraków (Poland) Molding or core sand The subject of the invention is a molding or core sand containing in its composition, in order to improve knock-out properties, a ground peat semi-coke loosener. The currently used waterglass molding or core sand is difficult to break down. To facilitate the breaking of molds, ground coke or coal dust is used as a loosening agent. These loosening agents, while improving the knockout properties of the molds, at the same time cause a number of disadvantages, such as an increase in the mass flexibility at high temperatures. In order to avoid these drawbacks, a molding and core sand was developed according to the invention. The essence of the invention is a molding sand or a core sand consisting of quartz sand and water glass, into which, as one of the additional components, ground pea co-coke is introduced in an amount of 0.5 to 0.5. 15%. This mass can be bound with carbonic anhydride, dried or dried, relatively bound in air or by chemical additives. The mass according to the invention, used to make molds or cores, allows to obtain a high smoothness of the surface of the castings and shows significantly "less flaking and very good knockout. A further advantage of this mass is the lower emission of harmful gases. Examples of the composition of molding and core sands according to the invention. 10 15 20 25 30 First example: quartz sand - 100 parts of the weight water glass - 5 "peat coke - 4" "Truck parts. Example two: quartz sand - 100 GM-3 clay - 3 water glass - 5" peat coke - 4 "10% Na (OH) - 1". The mass according to the invention is made directly from the raw materials mentioned by mixing them in any type of mixer for about 5 minutes PL
