Description

Opublikowano: 30.Y.1968 55486 KI. 75 c, 5/01 MKP . D II d bObCt A/oZ UKD Twórca wynalazku: inz. 4 tunel o jednej strefie suszenia z ^wentylatorami i nagrzewnicami umieszczonymi wewnatrz tunelu, fig. 5 dysze szcze¬ linowa w widoku ogólnym, fig. 6 dysze o stalej szerokosci szczeliny w przekroju poprzecznym, fig. 7 dysze o regulowanej szerokosci szczeliny w przekroju poprzecznym, fig. 8 dysze o regulo¬ wanej szerokosci szczeliny w przekroju podluz¬ nym., fig. 9 dysze o stalej szerokosci szczeliny w przekroju podluznym, fig. 10 schemat odmiany urzadzenia o tunelu pionowym, fig. 11 tunel su¬ szacy pionowy dwustrefowy.Urzadzenie to posiada nastepujace zasadnicze ze¬ spoly funkcjonalne: Zespól A o znanej budowie, sluzacy do odwiJa¬ nia tasmy nosnika, zespól lakierujacy B sluzacy do jednostronnego lakierowania lub nasycania nosni¬ ków, poziomy lub pionowy tunel suszacy C podzie¬ lony na dowolna ilosc niezaleznych stref suszenia, zespól D doprowadzajacy powietrze, zespól E od¬ prowadzajacy z tunelu suszacego powietrze o ma¬ ksymalnym stezeniu rozpuszczalnika i zespól F 0 znanej budowie, odbierajacy i nawijajacy wysu¬ szony nosnik.Zespól odwijajacy A sklada sie z dwóch walków 1 i 2, na które zaklada sie bele nosnika (tasme pa¬ pieru, tkanine itp.), dwóch walków transportuja¬ cych 3, z których jeden jest ogumowany oraz sze¬ regu walków prowadzacych 4.Zespól lakierujacy B sklada sie z pary walków 5 i 6, sluzacych do jednostronnego lakierowania nosników, wanny 7 i drugiego ukladu walków Si9, sluzacych do nasycania, a takze jednostronnego la¬ kierowania nosników. Miedzy zespolami walków 5 i 6 oraz 8 i 9 znajduje sie szereg pretów wahadlo- 5 wo obrotowych 10, prowadzacych nosnik 11 w wannie 7. przypadku (nasycania nosnika, walek 5 zespolu lakierujacego B spelnia role walka nawilzajacego; walek 6 jest wówczas podniesiony.Druga para walców umieszczona na koncu wan¬ ny, sluzy w zasadzie do usuwania inadmiaru lakie¬ ru z nasyconego nosnika, lecz nadaje sie równiez do jednostronnego lakierowania. Tworza go dwa wentylatory 15 i 16 a w przypadku tunelu pionowego fig. PL PLPublished: 30.Y.1968 55486 KI. 75 c, 5/01 MKP . D II d bObCt A/oZ UKD Inventor: Eng. Stefan Kotarski Patent owner: Gliwickie Zaklady Tworzyw Sztucznych, Gliwice (Poland) Device for impregnation, coating and non-contact drying of carriers The subject of the invention is a device for impregnation and coating with phenolic, novolac, melamine, polyester, silicone and other varnishes and for non-contact drying of carriers, especially papers, fabrics, floor coverings, artificial leather and other materials in a stream of hot air blown by means of nozzles ensuring a constant air flow along the entire length of the slot and constant static pressure. The devices for impregnation and coating of papers, known so far as impregnators and coaters, are known, fabrics and other carriers with melamine or novolac lacquers and their drying, have horizontal drying tunnels whose length depends on the type of lacquer used, divided into several drying zones and one last zone for cooling the carrier. For example, in known impregnators with three drying zones, in the first two zones, the carrier is dried in a stream of hot air blown counter-currently to the carrier's movement, parallel to its position. In the third zone, the air is blown in the direction consistent with the carrier's movement, parallel or at a slightly inclined angle to its plane. In the cooling zone (the last zone), the air drawn from the environment is blown perpendicularly to the carrier's plane, from both sides. 10 15 25 80 Air is supplied through nozzles with an uneven flow rate along the entire length of the slot. A separate fan located in each drying zone forces the ambient air through heaters to louvered air intakes located at one end of the zone, which distribute the hot air across the entire width of the tunnel. At the other end of the tunnel, these louvered air intakes collect the used air and recirculate it through the heaters. A portion of the used air, with the highest solvent concentration, is discharged to the atmosphere or to solvent regeneration via a separate fan located on the tunnel. The resulting air shortage is supplemented from the ambient air. The ratio of fresh air to recirculated air is regulated by flaps located on the louvered air intakes. The disadvantage of the devices discussed is that the amount of air blown into the individual zones is basically constant, as it can be regulated only to a small extent by throttling with flaps. The drying temperature can also be regulated only by regulating the supply of heating medium to the heater. This method is inefficient, because lowering the temperature in the drying zone also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the drying tunnel due to the constant mass of air flowing through the zone, and this reduces the drying efficiency. The carrier is supported along its entire length by a special grate, which leaves very undesirable marks, especially in the case of impregnation of decorative or covering papers. Other known devices of this type have horizontal drying tunnels, divided into a larger number of independent zones. They also have a nozzle-type air supply, but only from the bottom, at a slightly inclined angle to the carrier plane. Smooth heating pipes are placed above the carrier, through which the heating medium (air) flows. In these devices, fans and heaters are placed on the drying tunnel. Otherwise, they do not differ from the devices discussed previously. The disadvantage of this type of devices is the location of heating pipes in the tunnel above the carrier, which makes their replacement or repair in case of wear or damage difficult. The device according to the invention is free from the described disadvantages of previously known and used devices for impregnation and coating with various varnishes and drying of paper and fabrics, an example of which is shown in the attached drawings, in which: Fig. 1 shows a diagram of the device with fans and heaters placed on the tunnel, Fig. 2 a tunnel with one drying zone, with fans and heaters placed on the tunnel, Fig. 3 a tunnel with two drying zones, with fans and heaters placed on the tunnel, Fig. 4 a tunnel with one drying zone with fans and heaters placed on the tunnel. inside the tunnel, Fig. 5 slot nozzle in general view, Fig. 6 nozzles with constant slot width in cross-section, Fig. 7 nozzles with adjustable slot width in cross-section, Fig. 8 nozzles with adjustable slot width in longitudinal section, Fig. 9 nozzles with constant slot width in longitudinal section, Fig. 10 diagram of a variant of the vertical tunnel device, Fig. 11 vertical two-zone drying tunnel. This device has the following basic functional units: Unit A of known structure, used for unwinding the carrier tape, varnishing unit B for one-sided varnishing or impregnation of carriers, horizontal or vertical drying tunnel C divided into any number of independent drying zones, unit D for feeding air, unit E discharging air with maximum solvent concentration from the drying tunnel, and unit F of known construction, receiving and winding up the dried carrier. The unwinding unit A consists of two rollers 1 and 2, on which rolls of carrier (paper tape, fabric, etc.) are placed, two transporting rollers 3, one of which is rubber-coated, and a number of guiding rollers 4. The varnishing unit B consists of a pair of rollers 5 and 6, used for single-sided varnishing of carriers, a tank 7 and a second set of rollers Si9, used for impregnation and single-sided varnishing of carriers. Between the roller assemblies 5 and 6 and 8 and 9 there is a series of pendulum-rotating rods 10, guiding the carrier 11 in the tank 7. In the case of carrier saturation, the roller 5 of the lacquering unit B acts as a dampening roller; the roller 6 is then raised. The second pair of rollers, located at the end of the tank, serves essentially to remove excess lacquer from the saturated carrier, but is also suitable for one-sided lacquering. The roller 8 is constantly immersed in the lacquer; the roller 9 is positioned in relation to the roller 8 at an angle of 20°-^30° and can be moved along its axis by means of a suitable mechanical or pneumatic device. In a variant of the device in the unit In the varnishing chamber B, as shown in Fig. 10, which is mainly used for impregnating fabrics, there is only one pair of rollers 8 and 9. The drying tunnel C of the device is divided into any number of zones 12, the number and length of which depend on the needs. At the entrance to the tunnel there is a chamber 13 with fresh air, which prevents the escape of contaminated air outside the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel there is a cooling zone 14. Each zone is equipped on both sides with doors and viewing windows, allowing both observation of the processing of the substrate and access to the interior. Each tunnel zone has the same, independent air supply unit D. It consists of two fans 15 and 16, and in the case of the vertical tunnel Fig. 11, one or two Fans 15, with a continuously adjustable capacity by changing the speed of their rotors using a continuously variable gearbox. Next, there are heaters 17 located on the discharge or suction side and connected to the fans by appropriate air ducts. The heated air is forced into units D. Another element of the air circulation system is unit E, which has fans for removing a portion of the used air with the maximum solvent concentration from each zone of the drying tunnel (in the case of water, to the atmosphere; in the case of alcohol, to regeneration or to the atmosphere). Fans 15 and 16 replace this with the appropriate amount of fresh air. The amount of exhausted air is regulated by changing the speed of the fan rotor or by means of regulating flaps 23. Fresh air is taken from the environment. half through fabric or other filters, then it is mixed with the remaining part of the used air before the heater 17. In the heater, the air is heated to the desired temperature and then forced into the distribution ducts 18 and 19 located along the insulating walls of tunnel C and from there to the supply nozzles 20 distributing the air with the same outlet velocity along the entire length of the slot. 15 20 25 80 35 40 45 50 55 6055486 The nozzles 20 are so arranged that the air is blown onto the carrier 11 perpendicularly to its plane from above and below. The nozzles are arranged on the distribution ducts 18 and 19, at intervals of 10 mm. 140H-220 mm at a distance of 8(K-160 mm from the carrier 11, where the upper nozzles are located in the axis of the lower nozzles or can be shifted relative to the lower nozzles by half the pitch. The nozzles 20 are equipped with fixed guide vanes 21 or sliding vanes 22 enabling the width of the air outlet slot to be changed. The advantage of such air circulation is the possibility of blowing very large amounts of hot air with the same active drying surface as in the devices used so far. This allows for significantly larger amounts of heat to be supplied to the drying tunnel and thus increases the drying intensity. The winding unit F (receiving the dried carrier) has a pair of transport rollers and a rubber-coated steel roller 24. a water-cooled roller 25 and a number of auxiliary rollers 26 and a pair of winding rollers 27 and 28, driven from a central source or individually.
