It is known from the Polish patent description No. 168073 an anti-dust mask consisting of a nose, cheek and chin part with an external flexible metal strip in the nasal part, an outer elastic strap of the headband and neck, firmly seated in the cheek area at the periphery, and in two exhalation valves permanently placed in the half-mask. The half mask has a curved nasal ridge which is longer than the chin ridge. The nasal bridge is shaped by welding the left and right cheek pieces. A flexible metal strip is placed on this weld, pressing the half-mask to the root of the nose and ensuring better adhesion of the mask, and thus improving its tightness. Placing the seal on the nasal ridge causes that it protrudes significantly beyond the outline of the mask, preventing the use of the mask by people wearing optical or protective glasses. Moreover, the fastening of the elastic headband and neck in the same hole of the half mask makes it difficult to fit it exactly to the face and at the same time this hole should be reinforced with a ring element due to the fact that all forces acting on the place where the elastic element is stretched by the mask act on one point, which exposes the material to burst. An additional disadvantage of the half-mask according to the patent description No. 168073 is the proportions between the too long nasal ridge in relation to the chin ridge, while the proportions of the human face are opposite. Also, the shape of the chin ridge in the form of a straight segment causes that the half-mask under the user's chin sticks out from the face deteriorating the tightness of the face.
