Przedmiotem wzoru użytkowego jest pokrywa kanalizacyjna utworzona z tworzywa sztucznego, przeznaczona zwłaszcza do stosowania w przydomowych instalacjach kanalizacyjnych. Z opisu wzoru użytkowego zgłoszonego do zarejestrowania oznaczonego nr W-120070 znany jest właz kanałowy składający się zasadniczo z korpusu, pokrywy i tłumiąco-uszczelniającej wkładki. Istotą rozwiązania jest kształt i umiejscowienie wkładki, która w przekroju poprzecznym ma w przybliżeniu kształt litery „L” i obejmuje wsporczy pierścień pokrywy od strony pobocznicy i wsporczej powierzchni.
