Description

Ten stan naprezen wystepuje w podcietych strefach przypodporowych belek. Wzmocnienia te sa wykonywane w celu unikniecia zarysowania belki w miejscu koncentracji rozciagajacych naprezen w poprzek wlókien, badz w belkach istniejacych konstrukcji, gdzie nastapilo zarysowanie by uniknac niebezpiecznej propagacji rysy. Wykonanie wzmocnienia istniejacych konstrukcji tymi sposobami sa skomplikowane technologicznie. W przypadku zastosowania wkretów o srednicy powyzej 6 mm ko- nieczne jest równiez wykonanie otworów pilotowych. W przypadku stosowania klejonych bocznych nakladek wzmacniajacych powierzchnie boczne wzmacnianej strefy belki drewnianej powinny byc nalezycie przygotowane do klejenia. PL PL PL PL PLDescription of the design The subject of the utility model is a wooden beam undercut on the support. The tensile stresses in the direction of the lowest strength of the wood, i.e. perpendicular to the fibers, are the most dangerous for wooden structures. This state of stress occurs in the undercut zones of the beams. These undercuts are made for aesthetic reasons or to obtain a lower height of the structure of the building. The girders are weakened in places where they are supported, and their load-bearing capacity is significantly reduced compared to fixed-section beams. There is a concentration of stresses, mainly stretching across the fibers, which can lead to the formation of cracks and the destruction of the spar. Known and used are undercut wooden girders reinforced in support zones with the use of double-sided glued beech plywood overlays or strips fixed with nails, or barbed plates or glued bolts or steel threaded rods. It is assumed that these bars work on stretching and pulling out of the wood. These reinforcements are made to avoid scratching the beam at the point of concentration of tensile stresses across the grain, or in the beams of existing structures where the crack has occurred, to avoid dangerous crack propagation. Realizing the reinforcement of existing structures by these methods is technologically complicated. When using screws with a diameter greater than 6 mm, it is also necessary to make pilot holes. In the case of using glued side overlays strengthening the side surfaces of the reinforced zone of the wooden beam, they should be properly prepared for gluing. A wooden beam, undercut and reinforced on the support according to the utility model, is characterized by the fact that in the support zone it has a reinforcement in the form of vertical, elastic spiral rods. The rods are introduced with a rotary-hammer drill. Bars are made of high-strength stainless steel. The specific design of the rods ensures high tensile strength and at the same time resilience, and the spiral shape of the rods' feathers gives them a high tear-out strength. The nature of destruction of samples of beams reinforced with elastic spiral rods was sticky (warning), while with other methods it was brittle (sudden). Strengthening with rods is invisible, which is important, for example, when repairing exhibited historic structures. It is a simpler and safer solution in comparison to the reinforcement elements glued to the side surfaces. Due to the hidden cross-section of the rods in the depth, the fire resistance of the support zones reinforced with them is higher than in other methods. The insertion of spiral bars by drilling them with a rotary hammer drill with a special attachment without the use of adhesives is easy to manufacture. The beam according to the utility model is shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a wooden beam reinforced in the form of vertical, elastic spiral bars in a longitudinal half-section, Fig. 2 shows a spiral chord in a perspective view. The wooden beam 1 undercut on the support has a reinforcement in the form of vertical elastic spiral rods 2 introduced at the support part. The rods were introduced by drilling them with a rotary-hammer drill with a special attachment. The tongues of the spiral rods 2 get stuck in the wood during drilling, so that their introduction into the wood does not require the use of any glues. The specific shape of the spiral rod 2 contributes to its high tear-out strength and its vertical drilling in this zone prevents the beam from scratching or further propagating the existing crack.
