Zmiana konstrukcji instalacji odbierającej wodę z dachów budynków polega na zastąpieniu rur spustowych zbiornikiem o zarysie walca i średnicy w zakresie 0,3-0,6 m i wysokości 2,5-4,5 m. Zastrzeżenia ochronneon the outside, a rib (3, 13), and in the second limb (2b, 12b), a groove (4) for receiving an adjacent rib is substantially vertical in the working position. The method of collecting water in the pattern reservoir consists in modifying the known system that collects rainwater from the roofs of buildings. The change in the structure of the installation collecting water from the roofs of buildings consists in replacing the drain pipes with a cylinder with a cylindrical shape and a diameter in the range of 0.3-0.6 m and a height of 2.5-4.5 m. The essence of the solution consists in mounting to standard cylindrical drain pipes of the tank connected to the drain pipe of the existing drainage network of the building, whereby at the point of connection of the tank with the gutter, a grate is installed at the inlet stub connecting the tank with the outlet-drain end of the gutter, which protects the tank against falling and accumulation of dirt from the roof and rainwater. In the upper part of the tank, there is an overflow system that allows the excess of accumulated water to be drained, in the form of an opening located at the top of the tank shell and a pipe with an inverted "L" outline, running from the top, vertically down, parallel to the tank shell. In the lower part of the tank, there is an inspection hole for cleaning the tank, and a drain valve in the form of a tap, allowing direct connection of a garden hose. The tank is placed on a foundation and stabilized by means of symmetrical brackets on both sides of the tank. The advantage of the solution based on the formula is the simplicity and ease of modification of the existing drainage systems, the small working area of the tank, not requiring additional space - it takes the place of a downpipe at the building wall. In addition, the height and vertical position of the tank results in a significant water pressure in the range of 25-45 kPa, which allows watering using a garden hose, connected directly to the tank valve, without the need to use a pressure boosting pump. In addition, the solution is characterized by low investment costs, easy adaptation to the existing network, and easy installation. The formula solution is shown in the schematic drawing in which Fig. 1 shows the tank in a side view, Fig. 2 in a top view. The tank 3 is equipped with a drain valve 6, an inspection hole 5, an overflow pipe 4 and a connecting stub 9 with a grate 2 connected to the gutter 1 and set on the foundation 8, stabilized with brackets 7. The solution is presented in the embodiment example. Tank 3 with a diameter of 0.3, 0.5 m and a height of 2.5-4.5 m depending on the distance from the foundation to the lower edge of the roof, placed on the foundation 8, collects water from the roof surface of 12-20 m2 with a rainfall of 25 -46 mm. In the case of larger amounts of rainfall, excess water is removed by the overflow system in the form of a pipe 4. The height of the tank ranges from 2.5-3 m for one-story houses and 4-4.5 m for multi-storey houses. For single-storey houses with a roof area of 25 to 50 m2, 2-4 tanks with a height of 2.5-3 m are installed. The capacity of one tank is 0.31 to 0.38 m3 and allows the collection of water from a 12-15 m2 roof at precipitation with a capacity of 25-35 mm. For multi-storey houses with a tank height of 4–4.5 m, the capacity of one tank ranges from 0.50 to 0.56 m3 and enables the collection of water from 15-20 m2 of the roof with a rainfall of 33-46 mm.
