The pattern provides a support for floor strips, solving the problem of installation and operation of strips masking the expansion joint, among others. between the floor and the wall or the floor and the threshold. In many cases, it is necessary to mask the expansion joints between the floor and the wall or threshold, as well as between individual parts of the floor, while maintaining the same or almost the same level as the floor. Commonly used skirting boards do not work in such cases.

To obtain a stable connection of the cover strip with the floor, it is necessary to use special fasteners. Patent description EP2318616 describes a method of supporting a masking strip, consisting in mounting a height-adjustable support in the expansion gap. This solution is suitable for covering expansion joints between two floor fragments as well as between the floor and the wall. Due to the small space for installation, the correct fixing of the support near the wall is difficult.

There is also a known method of fastening a floor skirting covering the expansion gap, consisting in gluing the floor board to both edges of the floor. This spreading is not very effective in the case of an expansion joint near the wall, as it requires bending one edge of the strip to connect it to the wall.

The floor strip covering the expansion joint should be stable, which in the case of supporting only one edge, and this is the case with the joints between the floor and the wall, is very difficult to obtain and in known solutions it consists in installing special supports in the expansion joint.

The purpose of the pattern was to construct a support enabling simple and effective installation of the floor strip over the expansion gap between the floor and the wall.

The patterned support comprises a vertical plate on which transverse grooves are made and a horizontal plate terminated in a head which is inserted into a groove on the inside of the floor strip. The vertical tile has a series of transverse grooves that allow you to easily adjust the height of the vertical tile to the height of the floor. Depending on the desired height, you can break off or cut off a part of the vertical plate, adjusting the height of the support to the current requirements.

At the end of the horizontal tile there is a head shaped like a groove on the underside of the floor strip. In order to install the floor strip, adjust the height of the support to the current requirements by cutting or breaking off a part of the vertical tile and insert the support head into the groove of the floor strip, and then place it in the expansion joint in such a way that the vertical tile touches the wall, and the opposite edge of the floor strip rests on the floor.

The patterned support can be made of any material, in particular plastic.

The support shown in Figures 1-3 comprises a vertical plate (1), a horizontal plate (2) and a head (3). The vertical plate (1) has a series of grooves (4, 4 ', 4 ", 4") on the outside, allowing the height of the support to be adjusted to the current needs. The head (3) has a cross-section adapted to the shape of the floor strip groove.

Figure 4 shows an example of a joint of a support in a pattern with a floor trim (6) in a view parallel to the axis of the batten. The support head (3) has a shape adapted to the cross-section of the channel (5) on the inside of the floor strip (6).

Figure 5 shows an example of a support connection with a floor trim (6) in a view perpendicular to the axis of the batten.

Figure 6 shows an example of the use of a support to cover an expansion joint between a floor and a wall. The vertical plate (1) of the support abuts the wall (7), and the edge (8) of the floor strip (6) opposite to the wall rests on the edge of the floor (9). In order to install the floor trim (6), insert the head (3) of the support into the channel (5) of the floor trim (6), adjust the height of the vertical tile (1) to the required height, place the floor trim (6) in the expansion joint (10) and glue the edge (8) of the bar (6) to the floor (9).
