There are a number of measuring devices on the market that allow you to measure the diagonal of door frames. Most often, however, they are constructed in such a way that they require cooperation during the measurement, and the accuracy of the measurement is often imprecise when using manual gauges. There are commonly known in the art measuring devices in the form of measuring tapes with locking elements, an extending tape ended with a catch element, such as for example Japanese utility model No. JP3202482U. There is known from the Japanese patent description No. JP2012068223 an instrument for measuring the diagonal of rectangular frames of window joinery, having a catch plate with an engaging hole and additional bends, having holes for pins, immobilizing the measuring device in the frame. A device for anchoring a measuring tape with two clamps locking the device is also known from the American patent description US8191277, one of the clamps being provided with a disc with a slot for securing a tape measure. In a further state of the art, it is also known from the American patent application No. US20120204687 A1, a clamping measuring element provided with grips, the holder of the tray being provided with a frame with a seat in which the measuring tape engages. According to the utility model, the holder for the measuring tape has the form of a prism with the base of an isosceles trapezoid, the base walls of which are provided with a through hole, the two side walls containing the base arms are provided with long protrusions, and is also provided with a recess on the side wall of the prism containing a longer base of the trapezoid. Preferably, the recess is in the shape of a prism with a trapezoidal base. Preferably, the through hole is centrally located 2 mm from the longest side of the base. Preferably the projections are positioned parallel to the legs of the bases, symmetrically to the side edges. The solution according to the utility model is described below and shown in the drawing, in which: Fig. 1 shows the holder for a measuring tape in a perspective view from the shortest side of the prism, Fig. 2 shows the holder for a tape measure in a perspective view showing a recess in the base of the longest side wall and with a tape measure mounted therein, Figure 3 shows the tape holder in a front view; Fig. 4 shows the tape measure holder as seen from the side wall including the base frame. The measuring tape holder 1 is a prism-shaped element with an equilateral trapezoid base, the base walls 2 of which are provided with a through-hole 3, the two side walls containing the base arms 4 are provided with longitudinal projections 5. Each of the projections 5 is positioned it is parallel to the legs of the bases 2, symmetrically to the side edges. The measuring tape holder 1 is also provided with a recess 7 on the side wall of the prism including the longer base of the trapezoid. The measuring tape holder 1 is placed in the corner of the frame by pressing so that the projections 5 fit into the slots in the frame and the measuring tape holder 1 is prevented from moving. A measuring tape 9 is placed in the recess and it is fastened by means of a connecting element placed in the through-hole 3. The through-hole 3 is placed between the walls which are the bases of the prism 2 and is centrally located 2 mm from the longest side bases 2. The recess 7, resembling a prism with a trapezoidal base, enables the oscillation of the measuring tape and the measurement of dimensions other than the diagonal of the frame.
