PL 71 904 Y1 2 Opis wzoru Przedmiotem wzoru uzytkowego jest dokostny implant sluchowy bedacy czescia ukladu do sty- mulacji percepcji sluchowej wykorzystujacego przewodnictwo kostne lub czescia aparatu sluchowego opartego na przewodnictwie kostnym. Podstawowa metoda leczenia niedosluchu typu przewodzacego jest odpowiednia operacja re- konstrukcyjna. W przypadku braku mozliwosci leczenia operacyjnego poprawe sluchu mozna uzyskac poprzez dobór odpowiedniego aparatu wykorzystujacego przewodnictwo powietrzne. U pewnej grupy chorych, u których wystepuja przeciwwskazania do zamkniecia przewodu sluchowego zewnetrznego przez wkladke uszna aparatu sluchowego na przewodnictwo powietrzne istnieje mozliwosc zastosowa- nia stymulacji ucha wewnetrznego poprzez przewodnictwo kostne. Czlowiek posiada naturalna zdolnosc przenoszenia dzwieków droga kostna. Do najbardziej roz- powszechnionych rozwiazan naleza uklady wykorzystujace implanty BAHA zakotwiczone w kosci. Wibracje z implantu BAHA sa przenoszone droga bezposredniego przewodnic- twa kostnego do slimaka, gdzie powoduja pobudzanie receptora sluchowego. PL PL PL PL PL PL PL EN 71 904 Y1 2 Description of the formula The subject of the utility model is an intraosseous auditory implant which is part of a system for stimulating auditory perception using bone conduction or part of a bone conduction hearing aid. The mainstay of treatment for conductive-type hearing loss is appropriate reconstructive surgery. If there is no possibility of surgical treatment, the improvement of hearing can be achieved by selecting the appropriate device that uses air conduction. In a certain group of patients who are contraindicated in occlusion of the external auditory canal through the air conduction earpiece, it is possible to use bone conduction stimulation of the inner ear. Man has the natural ability to transmit sounds through the bones. One of the most common solutions is the systems that use BAHA implants anchored in the bone. The BAHA system consists of an external sound processor and a titanium implant implanted into the scales of the temporal bone of the human skull. In this system, the processor receives the sounds from the environment and converts them into vibrations, which are then transferred directly to the titanium implant implanted in the skeleton of the skull. Vibrations from the BAHA implant are transmitted via direct bone conduction to the cochlea, where they stimulate the auditory receptor. After some time, the titanium implant is tightly encased in the bone tissue. The implants used in this system are two-part. One of the parts, the screw is cylindrical, approx. 3-4 mm long and 4.5 mm in diameter, made of titanium. This screw is screwed on one side into a slightly smaller hole previously made in the patient's skull (in the temporal bone) and on the other side is attached to the plate / disk which is the second part of the implant. The implant plate / disc is an intermediate element in the mounting system with a sound processor, which processor is equipped with an identical or similar element. The plates forming the connection are covered with a magnetic layer, which makes the connection between the implant and the processor secure, and at the same time the processor can be easily disconnected from the implant. The purpose of the utility model is to develop an intraosseous implant as part of the system for direct stimulation of auditory perception, in which the stimulating device, which is a speech processor, will be closer (maximally) to the hearing receptor in the inner ear. According to the present utility pattern, the intraosseous implant has the shape of an elongated cone, the main part of which has a pin with a metric fine thread at its thinner end. On the other, wider end, the main part has a positioning element in the form of a tetrahedron. There is a spacer on the positioning element that supports the platform with a diameter slightly larger than the spacer, which has a blind threaded hole in its central part for screwing the sound processor housing into it. The subject implant is shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings, while Fig. 2 shows the thread on the implant shaft. The implant is made of titanium, it can be part of a system or apparatus for stimulating auditory perception using bone conduction. The shape of the implant is selected so that it can be placed in the bone mass of the curvature of the semicircular canal of the inner ear. The implant is made in the form of an elongated cone, it has a main part 1, which at one thinner end is equipped with a shank 2 5–8 mm long and with a diameter of 0.6–1.0 mm, with a metric fine thread. From the other, wider end, the main part 1 is connected to the positioning element 3 in the form of a tetrahedron, each wall of which has a width of 4 mm. The implant is screwed into the bone using a tool with a square profile, placed on the element 3. On the positioning element there is a spacer 4, 3 mm long, supporting the platform 5. The platform has a diameter slightly larger than that of the spacer 4 and has a threaded hole 6 in its central part, enabling the sound processor housing to be screwed into it. PL PL PL PL PL PL PL
