Przedmiot zgłoszenia stanowi przedłużenie układu plastyfikującego do ekstrudera jednoślimakowego wykonane jako cylinder z płaszczem chłodzącym, w którym grubościenny cylinder (1) ma wykonane na końcach łączące kołnierze (2), natomiast płaszcz chłodzący wykonany jest jako spiralny rowek (3) na zewnętrznej powierzchni grubościennego cylindra (1), który opasuje cylinder (1), przy czym rowek zamknięty jest od zewnątrz tuleją (4) szczelnie osadzoną na powierzchni cylindra (1), tworząc kanał (5), przy czym tuleja (4) zawiera króciec wlotowy (6) i króciec wylotowy (7) łączące się z kanałem (5) na przeciwległych końcach.
