Description

Opis wzoru Przedmiotem wzoru uzytkowego jest pólfabrykat kompozytowy z rdzeniem drewnianym, przezna- czony zwlaszcza do wytwarzania elementów lózek, szczególnie oklejanych folia dekoracyjna. Z kolei elementy wykonane z drewna o niskiej jakosci maja zazwyczaj niewystarczajaca wytrzymalosc mechaniczna i praktycznie nie nadaja sie do oklejania foliami deko- racyjnymi. PLDescription of the design: The subject of the utility model is a composite semi-finished product with a wooden core, intended primarily for the production of bed components, particularly those covered with decorative foil. Beds whose individual components, such as frames, legs, crossbars, connecting strips, and rails, are made of solid wood are well-known and widely used. The fundamental drawback of using solid wood for bed components is the necessity of using high-quality wood. It forms the face layer of the bed components due to its aesthetic value, which in turn results in a high product price. In turn, components made of low-quality wood typically have insufficient mechanical strength and are practically unsuitable for covering with decorative foil. Composite semi-finished products are also known in the form of a wooden core covered on all sides with MDF and/or HDF boards. For example, utility model application W28179 describes a semi-finished product consisting of a core made of wood, rectangular in cross-section, no less than 20 mm thick, covered on all four sides with HDF and/or MDF wood-based boards. The HDF and/or MDF board on the longer sides of the rectangle constituting the cross-section of the prefabricated product is thinner than the MDF board and/or HDF board glued to the core on the shorter sides of the rectangle constituting the cross-section of the door frame semi-finished product. A drawback of this solution is its relatively low resistance to loads perpendicular to the length of the semi-finished product and applied from its shorter side, as well as the sharp edges of the semi-finished product. A composite semi-finished product with a wooden core, which consists of a core made of wood, rectangular in cross-section, with a thickness of not less than 20 mm, covered on four sides with HDF wood-based boards, according to the nature of the utility model has a wooden core, preferably dried to a moisture content of 10-12% by weight of water, with a rectangular cross-section, the shorter side a of which has dimensions of 14-35 mm, the longer side b has dimensions of 40-120 mm, and the veneer of the wider sides of the core made of HDF board has a thickness c in the range of 1.5-4.0 mm, while the veneer of the shorter sides has a thickness d in the range of 5-10 mm, and regardless of this, all longitudinal edges of the semi-finished product are terminated with an arc with a radius r in the range 1.5–10.0 mm. This semi-finished product allows the use of wood, especially pine, with reduced quality and aesthetics, such as knots, intricate fiber structure, resin pockets, and cyanosis, as a core. This can also be glued lengthwise with micro-joints. The HDF veneer surface allows for easy painting, printing, or covering with decorative foils. Appropriate selection of the core thickness and width of the semi-finished product allows for its use in various bed structural elements, such as frames, legs, posts, brackets, etc. The subject of the utility model is shown in the drawing, which shows a cross-section of the semi-finished product. The composite semi-finished product with a wooden core intended for a bed frame consists of a core 1 made of pine wood, glued longitudinally with finger-joints, with a moisture content of 100% by weight, with a rectangular cross-section whose shorter side a is 22 mm, longer side b is 100 mm, and the HDF veneer on the two wider sides of the core is c = 2.0 mm thick, while the veneer on the 2' shorter sides is d = 7 mm thick. All longitudinal edges of the semi-finished product are terminated with an arc with a radius r = 2.0 mm. The average results of 6 comparative strength tests of the semi-finished product described in the example of the pattern and the semi-finished product made of pine wood glued longitudinally with finger joints with dimensions analogous to the dimensions of the core of the semi-finished product covered with HDF board are presented in the table.
