Description

Pierwszenstwo: 22.12.1972 (P. 159781) Zgloszenie ogloszono: 30.09.1973 Opis patentowy opublikowano: 08.09.1975 78925 U. 5d,5/14 MKP' E21f 5/14 CZYTELNIA Ur^do Pblenteweg, Twórcywynalazku: Antoni Kukuczka, Stefan Debowski Uprawniony z patentu tymczasowego: Kopalnia Wegla Kamiennego „Ziemowit", Ledziny (Polska) Zapora pylowa Przedmiotem wynalazku jest zapora pylowa przeznaczona do gaszenia plomienia powstalego w wyniku wybuchu pylu weglowego w podziemiach kopaln. Wydostajacy sie z pojemników suchy pyl kamienny stwarza oblok gaszacy plomienwybuchu. ¦—i-r Zapore pylowa wedlug wynalazku stanowi zestaw pojemników z tworzyw sztucznych wypelnionych py- lem kamiennym lub innym sproszkowanym srodkiem do gaszenia fali ognia, przy czym pojemniki majace w przekroju poprzecznym ksztalt spadajacej kropli mocowane sa pomiedzy dwoma poziomymi poprzeczkami przytwierdzonymi np. do odrzwi obudowy chodnikowej. 1 przed¬ stawia zapore usytuowana w chodniku upedzonym w obudowie lukowej, zas fig. 2 przedstawia zapore w prze¬ kroju poprzecznym. Jak uwidoczniono na ftg. 1 zapora pylowa sklada sie z kilku pojemników 1 z tworzyw sztucznych, napelnionych sproszkowanym srodkiem do gaszenia fali ognia, np. pylem kamiennym, a nastepnie hermetycznie zamknietych np. przez zgrzewanie, które to pojemniki zawieszone sa pomiedzy dwoma poziomymi poprzeczkami, tj. górna 2 i dolna 3, mocowanymi do odrzwi obudowy 4 chodnika. PL PLPriority: December 22, 1972 (P. 159781) Application announced: September 30, 1973 Patent description was published: September 8, 1975 78925 U. 5d, 5/14 MKP 'E21f 5/14 READING ROOM Ur ^ do Pblenteweg, Creators of the invention: Antoni Kukuczka, Stefan Debowski Entitled under a provisional patent: "Ziemowit" Hard Coal Mine, Ledziny (Poland) Dust dam The subject of the invention is a dust dam designed to extinguish a flame created as a result of coal dust explosion in mine undergrounds. wooden shelves * on which there are piles of stone dust due to binding regulations Stone dust depositing on the shelves as a result of direct contact with the mine atmosphere with high humidity and often as a result of water condensing from the ceiling quickly becomes wet, and therefore it loses its airworthiness properties. stone dust on the shelves prevents the dam from working effectively during an explosion, as only o sufficiently dry and volatile stone dust guarantees the formation of a cloud extinguishing the explosion flame after it is dropped from the shelves. Another disadvantage of the previously used dust barriers is the blowing of dust from the shelves when the barriers are built in workings with high air flow velocities. In both of the described cases, i.e. dampness and stone dust blowing, it is necessary to replace it frequently or supplement it. Carrying out activities related to the maintenance of dams in a proper condition requires a significant amount of labor, thus increasing employment in the group of non-productive workers. The aim of the invention is to eliminate the inconvenience of currently used dust dams. This goal will be achieved by constructing a hermetic dam that protects the stone dust against both moisture and air draft. According to the assigned task, the stone dust is placed in containers made of plastic, e.g. *. / polyethylene film, which, apart from being waterproof, is also characterized by not very high mechanical strength and a low melting point. These features are of paramount importance for the operation of the dust barrier, because for the opening of the containers (their rupture) and for the release of the material eliminating the explosion flame from them, the energy of the blast wave is used, acting on the walls of the containers, and in the event of a very weak explosion, during the blast wave of which will not tear the walls of the containers apart, the following fire wave will melt the walls of the containers, releasing stone dust from them. Dry stone dust emerging from the containers creates a cloud that extinguishes the flame of the explosion. According to the invention, the dust barrier is a set of plastic containers filled with stone dust or other powdered agent for extinguishing a fire wave, and the containers with a falling drop shape in cross-section are attached between two horizontal crossbars attached, for example, to the doorway of the pavement support . The location of the dam perpendicular to the axis of the excavation makes it possible to expose the maximum surface of the containers to the blast wave, and their two-line attachment, ie to the upper and lower crossbar, stiffens the dam in the direction of the blast wave, thus increasing its effectiveness. The dust dam constructed according to the invention does not have the disadvantages of the previously used open dams. The use of hermetically sealed containers for a powdered agent for extinguishing a fire wave and the method of their mounting in the mining excavation guarantee a high reliability of the dam operation. The subject of the invention is shown in the example of the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the dam located in the sidewalk drained in the hatch casing, and Fig. 2 shows the dam in cross section. As visualized on ftg. 1 dust barrier consists of several containers 1 made of plastic, filled with a powdered agent for extinguishing a fire wave, e.g. stone dust, and then hermetically closed, e.g. by welding, which containers are suspended between two horizontal bars, i.e. the upper 2 and lower 3, fixed to the support 4 of the pavement. The containers 1 are attached to the crosspieces 2 and 3 with any locks, which are, for example, two slats 5 with a length equal to the width of a single container with holes made in them for screwing them to the crosspieces 2 and 3. Containers 1 in their upper and lower part, i.e. where they are held with locks, they should have thicker walls to strengthen their suspension, and the front walls of the containers 1 exposed to the blast wave should be relatively thin for their tearing easier. The number of containers in the dust barrier depends on the amount of material required to extinguish the flame of the explosion. PL PL
