Description

Fig.1 ^72 v5,50 LA E-30 PL PL PL PL PLThe invention relates to a method for mining coal with two coal plows, one of which is attached to a first endless chain running away from the face of the wall in a compartment mounted on a wall conveyor, the other to a second endless chain running away from the floor in a compartment mounted on a wall conveyor, each chain having its own drives located at the ends of the wall. DAS 1206 269 discloses the use of two coal plows for shear mining of coal, simultaneously run on one conveyor, the endless chain of one coal plow being located on the face of the wall and the other on the backfill side. These coal plows are, however, guided on the wall conveyor so that they operate in different planes of the sleeper. The coal plow placed on the wall conveyor near the floor on the face side cuts the lower bed, while the plow placed on the conveyor cuts the upper bed. The buckling forces acting on the wall conveyor, occurring when using two coal plows that complement each other during mining, must be balanced. For this purpose, one coal plow is attached to the endless chain on the face side of the wall, and the other to the chain on the backfill side. However, it is impossible to excavate the entire thickness of the backing using the device described above if each of the two coal plows is assigned a specific length of the wall, and, moreover, if both coal plows are in the same position at every point on the wall. It is known, for example, from patent specification DOS 1 801 010, to run two plows side by side on the wall along the wall, wherein each plow is assigned half of the wall, and both plows are run on the side facing the wall or on the side facing the backing on their own chains, but only through half of the wall. Such a device with two plows requires a central drive station for each, which requires an additional recess in the center of the wall or a special guide device for the area where both plows intersect. It is also known to place two coal plows one behind the other on the chain of the plow device. In this case, however, both plows practically function as loosening tools, as they cannot be driven independently of each other. The aim of the invention is to develop a method for mining coal with two coal plows and a device for using it, by means of which both plows can be driven independently of each other by two separate drive units and their own chains. In order to enable optimal use of the capacity of the longwall conveyor, from walls with different hardness of coal beds within a specific range or from walls in which rock mass disturbances are overcome by the face of the longwall, equal or almost equal amounts of excavated material are obtained as from a wall with medium hardness of coal or from an undisturbed seam into which only one coal plow is inserted. This problem was solved by using the type of device mentioned above as a coal plow, a plough without a blade and a plough with a blade. Each plough cuts the entire base from the floor. Each plough is assigned a predetermined length of the wall area to be mined. Each plough, independently of the other and simultaneously driven along its assigned length of the wall area, is assigned different lengths of the wall area to compensate for geological irregularities in the base. The wall lengths assigned to both coal plows can also intersect, for example, if hard coal is present in the central part of the wall. This allows for the wall length to be adjusted to suit the varying workability of the coal, and each of the two plows is equipped and driven accordingly. According to a further embodiment, one of the two plows can be specifically used to traverse the length of the wall through disturbed areas and, correspondingly, be equipped and driven to the rim. To apply the method according to the invention, a device is used, characterized in that on the longwall face side, a coal plow is attached to the working part of the chain in a compartment mounted on the wall conveyor from the face of the shield, and a coal plow without a blade is guided on it, and on the backfill side, a coal plow is attached to the working part of the chain in a compartment mounted on the wall conveyor on the backfill side of the shield, and a coal plow equipped with a blade is placed on this shield. The shields are always designed with two compartments. According to the inventor's method and device, twice the amount of spoil is obtained from a single wall as when using a single-plough device without overloading the plow device, or with an equal amount of spoil, saving the plow devices, thus avoiding overload due to downtime. This is achieved without additional work in the center of the wall (creating a niche for the plow) or additional devices (devices within the intersecting range, such as additional drive devices). Since each plow is assigned a predetermined length of the wall, sections that hinder the advance of the wall when one plow is operating, e.g., disturbance zones or hard coal zones, can be assigned to one of these plows, which, with appropriate blade equipment, can, for example, cut a correspondingly shorter length of the wall, while the other plow works on an uncapped, longer section of the wall under optimal normal conditions. Currently used and proven coal plows with the equipment can be used to implement the method according to the invention. In constructing the device according to the invention, the proven state of the art can be relied upon. The subject of the invention is illustrated in an example of its embodiment in the drawing by Höffm. Fig. 1 shows a plow device according to the invention on a wall in a top view, Fig. 2 — a cross-section of a plough pulled on the backfill side, Fig. 3 — a cross-section of a plough pulled on the face side. Fig. 1 shows a wall, on the side of which a wall conveyor 2 with drives 20, 21 is located. On the wall conveyor a chain cover 13 is fastened on the face side of the wall and a chain cover 12 on the backfill side /Fig. 2 and 3/, in which the working parts of the chain 10 or 100 and the loose parts of the chain 11 or 110 are arranged one above the other in the respective working compartments of the chain 5 or 6 and the empty compartments 50 or 60. On the working chain 100 in the compartment 6 there is attached a coal plow 4 without a ploughshare on the plough guide 40 and on the part of the working chain 10 in the compartment 5 a coal plow 3 with a ploughshare 31 on the plough guide 30. As a further guide for both plows 4 or Z, a chain guard 13 serves on the side of the wall face, which is covered by the respective guiding elements of the coal plows 3 or 4.
