Description

Z korytkiem sa polaczone w sposób, zapewniajacy styk elektryczny, wystepy, ustawione prostopadle do denka, wykonane z ma¬ terialu przewodzacego prad elektryczny. Wystepy te maja podluzne wyciecia, idace do górnej kra¬ wedzi wystepu w dól ku podstawie. Wyciecia te maja rozszerzenia w górnych swoich czesciach. Korytko ma równiez wystepy w ksztalcie jezyczka z mate¬ rialu przewodzacego prad elektryczny, polaczone w sposób, zapewniajacy styk elektryczny z koryt¬ kiem metalowym, umieszczone prostopadle do pla¬ szczyzny denka i prostopadle do scianek bocznych korytka. Poniewaz kabel telefoniczny moze zawierac do kilkuset zyl, w procesie instalowania i konserwo¬ wania nawet niewielkiego systemu telefonicznego zachodzi potrzeba zastosowania wielu milionów laczników. Poniewaz wyszukiwanie i naprawa wadliwych polaczen miedzy przewodami telefonicznymi, szcze¬ gólnie w miejscach trudnodostepnych sa zajecia¬ mi pracochlonnymi i czasochlonnymi, a wiec ko¬ sztownymi, waznym jest, aby kazde polaczenie charakteryzowalo sie dlugim okresem uzytkowania. 3 w przekroju wzdluz linii IX—IX, fig. 10 — laczówke z fig. 3 w przekroju wzdluz linii X—X, fig. 11 — laczówke z fig. 2 w widoku z góry, a fig. 12—15 przedstawiaja inne przy¬ klady wykonania laczówki wedlug wynalazku w widoku perspektywicznym.Laczówka 2 przedstawia soba metalowe korytko przytwierdzone denkiem 4 do denka 5 korytka z materialu izolacyjnego, na przyklad, tereftalanu polietylenu. Wszystkie spre¬ zynki 26, 26a; 28, 28a; 30, 30a; 32, 32a sa jednako¬ we. Szablon 54 jest spe¬ cjalnie przystosowany do wspólpracy z kowadlem 56. Szablon ten ma wyciecie 57 o równoleglych krawedziach 62, przechodzacych w krawedzie 60 tworzace z krawedziami 60 kat rozwarty. Krawe- dzie równolegle 62 stanowia styczne do zaokra¬ glonej podstawy 64, która w przekroju poprzecz¬ nym ma ksztalt dwóch przecinajacych sie okre¬ gów. W ten sposób w srodku podstawy wyciecia 57 utworzony jest wierzcholek 66. 40 Przewód 8 sklada sie z przewodzacej prad ele¬ ktryczny zyly 70 i warstwy izolacji 68.Na fig. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 przedstawiono kolejne eta¬ py realizacji polaczenia dwóch przewodów z wy¬ korzystaniem laczówki wedlug wynalazku. Prze- 45 wód 8 umieszcza sie poczatkowo miedzy krawe¬ dziami podluznymi 62 szablonu 54 — w przestrze¬ ni 57. 6). Zagiete kon¬ ce 36 dluzszych, srodkowych sprezynek 30 doci¬ skaja przy tym przewód 8 do tych krawedzi 24, które rozcinaja warstwe izolacji 68 przewodu 8, sprezynki krótsze 32, 32a przy tym sa zagiete tak, 05 iz ich konce 42, 42a sa skierowane pionowo xv7 97787 8 dól, konce 36 dluzszych sprezynek 30, 30a sa skie¬ rowane ku sciankom bocznym korytka i tworza ze soba prawie kat prosty, a scianki boczne 7 ko¬ rytka z materialu izolacyjnego przybieraja ksztalt odpowiadajacy ksztaltowi podstawy 64 wyciecia 57 szablonu 54, przy czym konce tych scianek bo¬ cznych 7 sa skierowane pionowo w dól.Dalsze przemieszczenie szablonu 54 w dól ku podstawie 58 kowadelka 56 {fig. 2. Tasma 50 jest rozcieta posrod¬ ku miedzy kazda para sasiednich korytek w po¬ przek tasmy, lecz nie do samych brzegów i nacie¬ ta wzdluz brzegów, tasmy tak, iz istnieje mozli¬ wosc zagiecia nadcietej tasmy ku górze i utwo¬ rzenia korytka izolacyjnego. Korytko metalowe wykonywane jest z blachy, odznaczajacej sie wla¬ sciwosciami sprezystymi. Najpierw wykrawa sie z blachy plaski szablon, z którego nastepnie ksztal¬ tuje sie korytko z zagietymi sprezynkami, które to korytka sa laczone nastepnie z tasma z mate¬ rialu izolacyjnego. Laczenie przewodów za pomo¬ ca laczówek wedlug wynalazku moze byc realizo¬ wane zarówno recznie jak i automatycznie.Do wytwarzania elementu metalowego laczów¬ ki najlepiej nadaje sie blacha z mosiadzu twar¬ dego zawierajacego 70*/o miedzi i 30°/« cynku lub z fosforobrazu o grubosci okolo 0,041 cm. Laczów¬ ki wedlug wynalazku, wytwarzane seryjnie maja nastepujace wymiary: dlugosc okolo 2,4 cm, sze¬ rokosc okolo 0,46 cm i wysokosc okolo 0,33 cm.Na fig. 12 przedstawiono laczówke wedlug wy¬ nalazku stanowiaca inny przyklad realizacji wy¬ nalazku. Do takiej laczówki dolacza sie je¬ den przewód, zaciskany w wycieciach jezy^ków 16, 18 i dociskany sprezynkami 26, 26a; 28, 28a; , 30a. PL PLThe subject of the invention is a connector for connecting electric wires and a method for clamping electric wires in a connector. From US Pat. No. 3,410,950 a connector is known for connecting electric wires, in particular telephone wires with insulation. The connection of cables with this connector is carried out without first stripping the insulation from the conductor. The connector according to US Patent No. 3 410950 consists of a metal tray made of elastic material. The side walls of the trough are cut so that they are shaped from strips of metal, being one whole with the trough, springing handles. The protrusions perpendicular to the bottom are connected to the tray in a manner ensuring electrical contact. They are made of an electrically conductive material. These protrusions have elongated cuts extending to the upper edge of the protrusion down to the base. The cutouts have extensions on their upper parts. The springing handles have the bends facing the tray's outside. Lugs are provided between each pair of the aforementioned spring holders. The entire tray is covered with a sheet of insulating material. The spaces formed between the metal elements of the tray and the insulating membrane are filled with a substance which, when exerting pressure on the wires inserted into the cutouts in the protrusions, flows out and seals the connection, creating an airtight connection, protected against impact. corrosion-inducing atmospheric agents. The connector according to the aforementioned US patent has relatively wide spring protrusions. For this reason, quite significant crimping forces must be applied to cause the conductors to leak in the vertical protrusions, cut the insulation on the conductor and create an electrical contact between the conductor and the electrically conductive elements of the connector. In addition, this connector is characterized by quite a complicated technology and requires a considerable consumption of high-quality and expensive materials, in particular phosphorus. The purpose was achieved by designing a connector for connecting electric wires, containing a metal element made of elastic material having the shape of an elongated tray, both longitudinal side walls of which are cut open. for at least two pairs of spring clamps arranged opposite to the grid and intended for securing electric wires in a connector block. The resilient handles also have bends at the ends. The tray also has protrusions in the shape of a pin of electrically conductive material, connected in such a way as to provide electrical contact with the metal tray, positioned perpendicular to the plane of the bottom and perpendicular to the side walls of the tray. Longitudinal cuts are made in the tongues, starting from the upper edge of the tongue and not reaching its lower edge. run parallel to the side edge of the tongue. The connector also has an outer layer of insulating material, partially inseparably connected to the metal tray, also formed in the form of a tray with side walls higher and longer than the side walls of the metal tray. The connecting plate is made in the form of a flat spring, the length of which is greater than its width, with a bend at the end pointing towards the center of the metal tray and downwards towards the base of the tray at an acute angle towards the side wall of the metal tray, and the tongues cut out from the bottom of the metal tray and bent at right angles to the bottom, they have, after the only central cut, the longitudinal axis of which coincides with the axis of symmetry of the cross-section of the metal tray. the center of the metal tray, but slightly smaller than the conductor diameter of the connected electric water. The clamping springs located closer to the transverse symmetry axis of the metal tray have bends at a greater height than the base of the tray, and the springs located on the edge of the metal tray are made at a lower height, so that the hooks formed at the ends of the springs in the middle They have a shorter length than the hooks formed at the ends of the edge springs. are cut into at least two pairs of spring clamps, arranged opposite each other and intended for fixing the wires in the connector, having bends at the ends, tabs in the form of pins made of electrically conductive material, connected in such a way ensuring electrical contact with the metal tray, positioned perpendicular to the bottom and to the side walls of the tray, in which the tongues are made longitudinal cuts, starting from the upper edge of the plug and not reaching its lower edge, running parallel to the side edge of the plug and from the outer material layer insulating, connected at least to the bottom of the metal tray, also having the shape of a tray with side walls higher and longer than the side walls of the tray and a bottom longer than the bottom of the metal tray, consists in laying the cables connected in the tray in the grooves on the upper edges of tongues, which are connected with the longitudinal cuts in the tongues, exerting a compressive force on the metal tray, causing the bending of a pair of springing holders placed opposite to it, introducing the wires connected in the longitudinal cut-out in the plug, cutting the insulation in this cable, the manner of electrical contact between the wire conductor and the pin and at the crimp According to the invention, at least two pairs of elongated flat springs arranged on both sides of the metal tray base, the length of which springs is much greater than their width, and each of which has bends directed towards the end. bends with a template inwards and towards its base, so that the wire, having the wire and insulation, is first put on the hooks of the shorter springs, then it is gripped with the hooks of the longer springs, placed over the edges of the mouth of the cutout of the plug and pressed in the cutout so that the insulation of the wire is cut, and an electrical contact is formed between the wire wire and the pin on the circumference, substantially corresponding to the contour of the lower cutout portion of the plug. Each spring is formed by squeezing the wire in the connector under pressure using a stencil so that the springs take the shape of almost a circle, and the ends of their hooks touch The connector according to the present invention is shaped in such a way that less metal is required for its production than is the case with the known connector. Moreover, it is shaped in such a way that the crimping force to be applied to the conductor is much lower than in the case of a known connector. Moreover, the construction of the connector according to the invention ensures that when it is tightened on the conductor, the connection of the connector is likely to loosen. with the wire, expressed by the weakening of the integrity of the connection of the connector with the wire, is much smaller than in the case of a known connector. both above and above the ground. Since a telephone cable can contain up to several hundred cores, the installation and maintenance of even a small telephone system requires the use of many millions of connectors. Hence it is understandable that even small metal savings obtained on a single conductor can result in very large savings in scarce materials on a general scale. Bearing in mind that the activities of connecting the wires of the telephone cable 40 45 50 55 6097787 6 are carried out under a wide variety of conditions and circumstances, including in hard-to-reach places, for example in manholes below the ground or on overhead line platforms, it is also important that the weight of the tool used to crimp the terminal block on the cable, as well as the forces applied, are as small as possible. For labor-intensive and time-consuming, and therefore costly, work, it is important that each connection has a long period of use. All this is ensured when using the technical solution according to the invention. The invention is described in more detail on the basis of the drawing in which Fig. 1 shows the tape with connectors according to the invention in a perspective view, Fig. 2 - single Figure 3 - connector according to the invention, clamped on a pair of wires, Figure 4 - front view of the connector, placed in a crimping device and a template for crimping the connector on wires, Figure 5 - 8 successive stages of the crimping operation of the terminal block on the conductor, Fig. 9 - the terminal block from Fig. 3 in a section along the line IX-IX, Fig. 10 - the splice from Fig. 3 along the line X-X, Fig. 11 - splice block from Fig. 2 shows a top view, and FIGS. 12-15 show a perspective view of other embodiments of a connector according to the invention. The connector 2 shows a metal tray attached with a bottom 4 to the bottom 5 of the tray made of an insulating material, for example polyethylene terephthalate. . The side walls 14 and 14a of the metal tray are cut into a comb shape. Individual springs 26, 26a; 28, 28a; 30, 30a; 32, 32a have curved ends, the bends facing the center of the tray. The insulating material tray has side walls 7 whose height is greater than the height of the side walls of the metal tray. In addition, the length of the insulating material tray is greater than the length of the metal tray. The side walls 7 of the insulating tray have cutouts 48. In the bottom 4 of the metal tray are provided two pairs of bent at right angles to the bottom, arranged symmetrically. In total, the leakage 48 in the side walls of the tray from the insulating material of the tongues 16 and 18. Each of the tongues 16, 18 has cuts 20, 23 respectively. In this case, the cutout 20 in one of the tongues 16 is slightly narrower than the cutout 23 in the tongue 18. The cutouts 20, 23 are made so that the side walls 14, 14a are symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axes of the cutouts. The upper edges of the 24 tabs 16 and 18 are rounded in such a way that the longitudinal edge of the cut is tangent to the arc of the fillet. All springs 26, 26a; 28, 28a; 30, 30a; 32, 32a are the same. Each spring has a bent end 36, 36a 42, 42a directed inwards and downwards towards the base 12 of the metal tray 4. Springs 26, 26a; 28, 28a; 30, 30a; 32, 32a, are arranged opposite to the longitudinal axis of the tray and in two groups, arranged symmetrically with respect to the transverse axis of the tray, passing in the middle between the two tongues 16, 18. The springs 32, 32a from the pair of springs farthest from the transverse axis of symmetry of the terminal block in each of the two groups of springs are bent at a shorter length than the other center springs, i.e. they have a lower height and a larger hook compared to the center springs. Terminal 2 is intended for connecting two wires 8 and 10 (fig. 3), so that it is clamped at the ends of the wires to be joined. The end of one of the conductors 8 is inserted into the tray 4 of the connector 2 on one side of the connector until it touches the first pair of pins 16, 18, and the end of the second conductor 10 is inserted into the tray 4 of the connector 2 on the other side of the connector until it contacts the first pair of pins 16, 18. to make contact with the second pair of tongues 16, 18. Fig. 4 shows the starting point of the process of connecting the wires by means of the connector 2 according to the invention. The connector 2 is placed on the anvil 56. The base 12 of the connector 2 rests on its surface. template 58. Template 54 is specially adapted to work with the anvil 56. The template has a cutout 57 with parallel edges 62 extending at edge 60 to form an obtuse angle with edges 60. The edges of parallel 62 are tangent to the curved base 64 which is in the shape of two intersecting circles in cross-section. Thus, a peak 66 is formed in the center of the base of the cutout 57. The conductor 8 consists of an electrically conductive core 70 and an insulation layer 68. two wires using the connector according to the invention. The wire 8 is positioned initially between the longitudinal edges 62 of the template 54 - in space 57. As the template 54 is moved downward - towards the base of the anvil 56, the wire approaches springs 32, 32a; 30, 30a, 50, and at some point are placed on the bent ends 42, 42a of the edge pairs of springs 32, 32a and between the bent ends 36, 36a of the central springs 30, 30a (FIG. 5). In this case, the side edges 7 of the insulating material tray 55 are slightly bent so that the gap in the bend corresponds to the gap 64 of the base of the cut 57 of the form 54. A further displacement of the template 54 causes the conductor 8 to be pressed against the rounded 60 edges of the 24 tongues. 16, 18 (fig. 6). The bent ends 36 of the longer, central springs 30 press the cable 8 against the edges 24 which cut the insulation layer 68 of the cable 8, the shorter springs 32, 32a are bent in such a way that 05 and their ends 42, 42a face vertically xv7 97 787 8 bottom, the ends of the 36 longer springs 30, 30a are directed towards the side walls of the troughs and form an almost right angle with each other, and the side walls 7 of the insulating material groove take the shape corresponding to the shape of the base 64 cut 57 of the template 54, the ends of these side walls 7 point vertically downwards. The further displacement of the template 54 downwards towards the base 58 of the anvil 56 {FIG. 7) causes the wire 8 to be pushed into the cut 23 in the tab 16. The distance between the edges of the cut 28 is slightly smaller than the diameter of the wire 70 of the wire 68. Electrical contact is provided radically with the entire metal tray 4 and wire 70. The ends of the 36 longer springs bend at right angles to the side walls 14, 14a of the channel 4, and the ends 42, 42a of the shorter springs are bent towards the side walls and form an almost straight angle with each other. The edges of the side walls 7 of the insulating material tray are joined together and directed downwards. In doing so, they press on the conduit 8, causing it to be pushed further into the notches in the pins 16, 18 as the template 54 continues to move. 18, cutting the insulation layer 68 of the conductor 8 and pushing the conductor to the base 12 of the metal tray 4. In this way, an electrical contact between the pin and the conductor on the circumference of the conductor is ensured equal to approximately half of its cross-sectional contour. The ends 42, 42a of the shorter springs are provided. They are directed towards the side walls of the tray and downwards - at an acute angle to the base 12, and the ends of the longer springs - towards the walls, side and upwards - at an acute angle to the perpendicular to the base 12 of the tray 4. The tongues 16, 18 are arranged between springs 26, 26a and 28, 28a and 28, 28a and 30, 30a so that they do not prevent the bending of these springs. This means that the gap between adjacent springs is smaller than the gap between the pins 16, 18. The connectors 2 according to the invention are manufactured in an automatic device in the form of a tape 50 of insulating material (Fig. 1). Metal trays shaped as shown in Fig. 2 are attached to the tape at equal steps. and cut along the edges of the tape so that it is possible to bend the cut tape upwards and form an insulating tray. The metal tray is made of sheet metal with elastic properties. First, a flat pattern is cut out of the metal sheet, from which a tray with bent springs is then formed, which trays are then joined to a strip of insulation material. According to the invention, the connection of the conductors by means of the connectors can be realized both manually and automatically. phosphorimage about 0.041 cm thick. The connectors according to the invention, produced in series, have the following dimensions: a length of about 2.4 cm, a width of about 0.46 cm and a height of about 0.33 cm. ¬ invention. This connector contains all the elements characteristic of the connector shown in Fig. 2. The only difference is that the metal tray forms one whole with the ring spacer 76. One wire is connected to such a connector, clamped in the cuts of the tongues. 16, 18 and clamped by springs 26, 26a; 28, 28a; , 30a. On the other hand, the ring spacer 76 may be connected to a clamping screw of any device. The connector shown in Fig. 12 differs from the connector shown in Fig. 2 in that it has fewer springs. The connector shown in Fig. 14 has one each. There is a pin 18 on each side of the connector, and Figure 15 shows the connector that does not include a shielding tray of insulating material. PL PL
