DIVULGA-SE UM MÉTODO (1) PARA PESQUISA DE FUGAS NUMA REDE DE ABASTECIMENTO DE ÁGUA, QUE COMPREENDE: OBTER DADOS DE GEORREFERENCIAÇÃO DE UMA REDE DE ABASTECIMENTO DE ÁGUA (11); ADQUIRIR, COM BASE NESTES, IMAGENS GERADAS POR SISTEMAS DE DETEÇÃO REMOTA, EM QUE ESTAS REPRESENTAM UMA REGIÃO DA SUPERFÍCIE DA TERRA ONDE A REDE SE ESTENDE (12); EXECUTAR O PROCESSAMENTO DAS IMAGENS E DOS DADOS DE GEORREFERENCIAÇÃO DA REDE E GERAR UM MAPA DIGITAL GEORREFERENCIADO APRESENTANDO A REDE E O TEOR DE HUMIDADE DO SOLO NA REGIÃO (13); DETETAR E LOCALIZAR UMA OU MAIS FUGAS NA REDE COM BASE NO MAPA DIGITAL GEORREFERENCIADO (14). O MÉTODO ADQUIRE (12), DE PELO MENOS UMA BASE DE DADOS CONTENDO IMAGENS DA SUPERFÍCIE DA TERRA GERADAS POR SISTEMAS DE DETEÇÃO REMOTA, APENAS IMAGENS REPRESENTANDO A REGIÃO DA SUPERFÍCIE DA TERRA ONDE SE ESTENDE A REDE, DETETADAS REMOTAMENTE SOB CONDIÇÕES METEOROLÓGICAS QUE SATISFAÇAM REQUISITOS METEOROLÓGICOS PREDETERMINADOS.
